No one is saying it's ok for Israel civilians to be attacked. The point is that Israel didn't "attack back", they broke the ceasefire and started the conflict. Israel's attacks on Gaza were completely disproportionate to the attacks on Israel. The numbers of casualties and the destruction of buildings on each side clearly show that.
