I still remember the first time I ever heard this song, it was back when my stepdad was still teaching me about rock and all it stood for. Before that point, I only listened to country, and that was only because it was the only thing my mother listened to. Eric's version is so much better than Peter's, it's sad that he passed away two years before I learned about him. Rock on in peace, Eric.

It's strange how the topic of KISS' drummers can get the adrenaline flowing in most fans. For me - as a die-hard fan since the mid-seventies - Peter can never be replaced. However, I agree that Peter is not the most technically skilled drummer to ever sit behind the KISS-drumkit. That would probably be Anton Fig, with Singer as a close second. Carr got better towards the end, but at the beginning he was more volume than feeling. But non other than Peter could have come up with it.
