I admit that there has to be a dark side to everyone and this was his. Trying to force someone who isn't Josette into being Josette. She was his first love and his soul-mate in the 1800's so of course he gets confused and wants Maggie Evans to be someone she never could.

I have read that the studio where DS was filmed was small; yet the sets were so beautiful. I have always wanted a soft blue bedroom like Josettes. I have always been curious as to what the sets looked like in the studio.

Touching deep Classic images of DARK SHADOWS haunting episodes: I was like that's Maggie not Josette then it dawned on me Maggie identical image of Josette whom Kathy Lee Scott portrayed both characters (& more!) due to all those parallel times on DS. Barnabas had a dizzy fit over Josette and when he saw Maggie whom looked exactly like her/she was on his list for life. I can understand why Dr Julia Hoffman was jealous of Josette/Maggie for Julia (& Angelique) were in love with Barnabas!

Effective choice of music. The chill factor never leaves. Barnabas' sadness and longing for something lost forever is ever present. My favorite scene is the one where he's in Victoria's room, after her disappearance, holding the music box--the haunted look on his face stirs the heart. No one can express eternal heartbreak like Jonathan Frid. Ending the video back in 1795 as you did lends the Barnabas and Josette legend an air of pervading gloom.
