i personally think he stopped channeling in order to save the time he would have wasted chanelling when he saw chain frost being cast

That's because the ult cancels when chain frost is cast on him, not when the projectile actually hits the hero.

Also, I watched the scene over again and he did not take damage from chain frost as BKB was still going, so I think you should re-watch the scene.

Even if the scenario you describe was in fact what occurred, because as you said, he would have just been saving time. However, it's pretty clear that the chain frost is what cancelled his ultimate.

I think pub games in your country are different than in Philippines. Here in Philippines, pub games are different. You can see farming, more ganking and plays. the pick doesn't matter because in here we can make plays of our picks. The item doesn't matter that much because here you need skills. Most people just underestimate filipinos.

@DeadZeye dont trash talk... i play international dota and u will never ever have the situation of sharing farm in every second game... ofc i had pubs in which supporter understood their role and let the carry farm etc. but in general good farming in pubs comes from letting the team alone or ultra long games... ppl dont have the skill to farm 70 cs in 10 min... ofc u need skills but u dont have the skill those players have ... and even pros develop (we have 2010 now)

@Thappy9 true this, and altho they only came in second, pretty sure they made a lot of money. Lot of teams that are sponsored get paid weekly (each player) but all tournament prize money goes to the manager. And the manager covers for the flight ticket there and back, hotel, food and other things.

I tried to explain but the 500-words-limit owned me. Get this straight man, there is no money in the DotA scene since the game isn't fully recognized as an e-Sport. Teams do not get weekly salaries. There are two sponsors in DotA who give MONTHLY salaries. Nirvana and FTD. No others.

There is no profit for DotA players. Low price money in tournaments, few sponsors who barely offer anything else than a tag to play under and no recogniztion amongst other e-Sports.

Actually SK disbanded. TeG still runs, but with a new, almost entirely different Lineup (no more Bird and Satelit). They're pretty much a powerhouse in Europe, along with MYM, Enothome, TheShit, SCG etc.etc.

This game was great to watch live. Teg could have build dagger not bkb on their sk however he would have died far more and that second burrow matters almost as much as landing an ult. Also lich was trading ults with SK so as long as he picked his fight correctly he was able to neuter lich ult against his team.
