How I wish the HP touchsmart IQ506/800 series had a faster processor as the iMac 22"/24" but I guess i can upgrade (well I hope so) to 3GHZ. This pc is really worth its money so I'm gonna buy one real soon.

I think that hp knew that mac was going to put out a touch screen imac after they release their new laptops and ipods so hp decides oh lets make a touch screen computer before mac does so that it looks like mac is copying a windows computer.

There are currently no HDMI or component inputs. Some models have s-video in, RCA audio in, and some have bluetooth. And they all are wireless LAN b/g/n.

To connect the TV Tuner on the IQ506, connect a TV signal source via coaxial cable into the TV In connector on the back under the connector cover. Launch Windows Media Center from the Start menu or green button on the remote. Scroll and launch the TV Setup wizard. There's more info in the printed Getting Started guide that came with the PC, which is also in a PDF on on the HP support website, (search for IQ506 and click Manuals).

Also, for info on the DVR functionality, which uses Windows Media Center, there's an electronic User Guide on the TouchSmart. To find it, open Help and Support (blue question mark icon on the desktop), tap User Guides, and open "Watching and Recording TV." Hope that helps.

u know this actually does look like it could b used as a laptop, but i was wondering if this computer would b great for college besides media and gaming, it does have a 500gig hardrive which is intense, hopefully this would last long and its scratch resistant touch screen, glad it comes with a mouse but what about a stylus to use if u want to touch without using hands, i would like this as a graduation gift next year but idk if its the right choice even if im all about hp and pc so any tips?

Not exactly, it needs an electrical plug, so portability is a no-no. plus the Keyboard, if ever needed, is seperated from the PC itself unlike a laptop, so the Laptop is the way to go, but it'd make a good home PC :P
