The Million Dollar Man was my hero. He knew how to talk smack AND how to back it up! How many guys tried standing up to him only to fail? It amazes me that he did not truly become the WWF Champion. I wonder if the "WWF rule-book" truly did not allow Andre to surrunder the belt to him after Hogan was "swindled" out of it. I would die if officially the "controversial" by Jack Tunney were reversed, thereby acknowleding DiBiase as a WWF Champ.

Savage was suppose 2 win the IC belt from Honky but he refused 2 lose it & Dibiase was suppose to win the tournament 4 the World title at WM4 then when Hulk cam bac he would lost 2 Hogan at WM5. But because Honky wouldn't drop the IC belt to Savage & said he would no show 4 Saturday main event they changed things & let Honky keep the IC belt gave Savage the World belt and had the Million Dollar belt made for Ted

From what you described, I bet there was a lot of ego clinging to the IC belt. Telling a guy that he had to job to someone, or to even drop the belt to another wrestler must have ruffled a lot of feathers. "Hell, no! I am not getting pinned tonight," was probably said.
