    bevis:

  • God... What a shameless, horrible pirate this is. Fuck me, that music gets so fucking annoying.

  • this ia an awful rip off and to think people are trying to seel this crap on ebay for 35 quid a time JOKE!

  • The first level music is from either SMAS-SMB3, or SMA4:SMB3. Either way it's the bonus level music.

  • This is so bad it's good. No, wait... it's so bad it's horrible.

    AWAY, HORRIBLE GAME.

  • the music is from super mario world xD and the level from donkey kong contry 3

  • You could probably argue that DKC and SMW would be better on SNES than they would on Genesis (like Sonic and Vectorman would definitely be better on Genesis than SNES.) However, DKC would port much better to Genesis than Vectorman would port to SNES. SMW would likewise port much better to Genesis than Sonic would to SNES. And it seems that that is the rule. Each take advantage of their own strengths well, but Genesis could handle SNES stuff w much less trouble or loss than the other way around.

  • @AUDEPrecords

We've seen DKC and SMW on the Genesis, courtesy of pirates, but Sonic and Vectorman were not ported to the SNES. You can hardly call it a rule when there are no results on one side to actually compare.

  • @dunnono00 My choice of words might be worth a bit o' nit-pick, but what I was meaning was that the SNES just wouldn't be able to handle the speeds of sonic, or the CPU load of vectorman. SMW, and DKC might be somewhat inferior on Genesis than they were on the SNES (-possibly-), but they'd be well within what the system is capable of doing. I do not think the opposite would be true.

  • @AUDEPrecords

I get what you're saying, but it's difficult to ascertain without seeing something on the SNES side. Some might argue the absence of such ports, legit or otherwise, is evidence in and of itself. For what it's worth, we've never seen professional ports between the two systems vary all that much. Like Earthworm Jim, or TMNT, Street Fighter II, and so on. There might be differences in levels, color, audio, special effects, but they're all essentially playable and recognizable.

• THIS GAME CAN'T BE REAL!!!!!!!

  • @monkeypoo500 no its a chinese pirate game

  • God bless those pirates, if it weren't for them we couldn't make YouTube videos making fun of their games.

  • AAAAAAAAIYAA !! >:(

  • Y DOES THIS MUSIC SOUND FAMILIER?????? IT SOUNDS LIKE A BONUS AREA IN A GAME I CAN'T REMEMBER! SOMEBODY PLEASE FIND OUT ITS DRIVIN ME CRAZY!

  • @zach500000 Super Mario Bros

  • @7DragonMilo from Super Mario All-Stars remake

  • This the funnierst shit I've ever come across! i love the pointless and clumsy combination from the whole trilogy (the set is from 3, Donkey from the first one and the majority of the enemies from the second one). Fortunately there was a way to skip silly pirate-games like this: Buy the best 16-Bit console around: SNES.

  • LOL the "WOO" sound at the beginning is from Michael Jacksons moonwalker

  • I wouldn't call it a failed attempt! lol Imagine trying to put such a game onto the Genesis on your own???

  • WHY DOES EVERYTHING SCREAM WHEN YOU KILL IT?!

  • Hey guys............ Did you notice the Bonus room from Super Mario All-stars: Super Mario Bros 1?

  • @infinityman953 Actually I meant the beginning of the song it sounded like the bonus song from Super Mario Bros 1 (SMAS)

  • @infinityman953 yeah.

  • fuck this shitty game.we already had great games like Sonic 3 & Knuckles,Vectorman,Streets of Rage 2, and Contra Hard Corps. Why embaress the genesis capabilities like that.

  • Oh my God! This is just so fucking WRONG!

  • .......I busted a gut laughing at this. XD XD XD But in all seriousness, the only good thing about this is that you get a HYAH! when you get an extra life. I don't know, man! It just sounds so awesome and cool and totally unexpected! I....JUST LOVE IT! XP :D And, also, I didn't know dragonflies scream like girls when you stomp on them. XD

  • 3:52 missing out on those rocking tits

  • WTF????????????????!!

  • SCREEAM!

  • Why do the enemies scream like little girls when you kill them?

  • omg really baad...

  • Wait a minute.

Why is the music some crappy remix of the bonus levels from SMB1/Lost Levels in Super Mario All-Stars?

  • the music! AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!

  • the sound of the music must get annoying after a while

  • They threw all the enimies in level one?

  • Level 1 Music Is From Mario!

  • stole some sounds in the beginning from michael jacksons moon walker.

  • O_oooooooooooooooooo

    mode titan or caos ;)

  • AAAAAAAAAAIYA

  • It's the music from SMB 1 bonus stage!

  • The bonus stage music from Super Mario Bros.1 SNES

  • AAIIYAAAAA!!1

  • in the intro

    i hear michael jacksons WOH

    from the game

  • It's super mario all star music ! O_O

  • this tells a lot about how weak the technical abilities of the Genesis were.

  • @DarkRetroFan64 cause its fucking pirated of course its going to suck

  • @ArvGnarlington The sound effects are good though, especially when it says press start.

  • @DarkRetroFan64 That's rather unfair to say. This was probably made by some Chinese pirates just putting crap out on the market to make a few bucks. You could totally have a great Donkey Kong Country game for the Genesis if it were made by the right people.

  • @SonicPsycho It would never happen, wasen't DK made by Nintendo and not a third party game developer?

  • @TheGenesisfan93 Well, Donkey Kong Country was made by Rare, which was second party at the time, but that's beside the point. What I meant was that the Genesis could be capable of running a Donkey Kong Country STYLE game, using the same techniques Rare used.

  • @SonicPsycho When Nintendo came out with this game they said it was "the first fully rendered game" but I've never seen those graphics on SEGA genesis. Even on the later games like sonic 3D blast, those graphics are nice but you can see straight edges. The DK game that came out for SNES had very smooth graphics. The SNES came out like three years after genesis so they may of had something in the consule that SEGA diden't. I don't know if SEGA had the potential to have this game.

  • @TheGenesisfan93

It wouldn't have as good graphics as super nintendo or as good sound or music, but they could probably do like 75% of the game right on genesis if rareware was in charge of porting. Big problem is that genesis has less RAM, can display less colors, less color palette to choose from, and a sound processor not as sophisticated as super nintendo's. This pirate one at least looks pretty good so I think a real developer could do a decent job.

  • @renge2213 The sound quality is all opinion. Some games sound better on SNES because it's more smooth. But some games on SNES sound muffled and do sound better on Genesis. Like Mortal Kombat 3, Genesis is more "clear" where as SNES sounds muffled and to quiet. Whats "RAM"? I didn't notice color difference between consules, but you sound smart so I'll take you're word for it. Genesis had a faster MHz processer (7.5 or 7.2 to SNES 5.0) could that have helped?

  • @TheGenesisfan93

Imagine an office worker. This is the processor. Now imagine a filing cabinet filled with papers that he needs to work on. This is the game data on a cartridge or CD. Finally, imagine the worker's desk. This is where the office worker puts all those papers in order to do his job. This desk is basically RAM. The bigger the desk, the more work he can do. Kinda oversimplified, but that's how RAM works. Look for a video of SNES' DKC 3's 1st level and compare it to this video.

  • @renge2213 hahaha awesome explanation. Now all the Americans can understand how RAM, game data and processor works,

Just kidding you guys... or am i?

  • @TheGenesisfan93

Oh yea, I almost forgot. A faster processor always helps. I think the speed is part of the reason why the pirate makers made this game better looking than we expected it to be.

  • @renge2213 You're explanation made me undestand completely, all I can say is damn you're smart.

  • did i hear michael jackson's voice from moon walker at the title screen?

  • There are enemies from all three games, but only Donkey Kong. I'm really confused. The vultures look like they were vomited on, the one up balloons are made of lead. But worst of all is THE HORRIBLE SOUND. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?! Balloons that go "HI-YAH!"? Gophers that sound like squealing tires? Donkey Kong makes dust clouds when he lands? The vultures EXPLODE?! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

  • 2:14 lol!!!

  • wharawr 0:53

  • definately gay porn!!!

  • HAHA wow, this actually made me laugh out loud.

  • the music sounds like rick roll

  • Perde de longe para o SNES, eu sou mais o Mega Drive, mas esse jogo ficou muuuuuito melhor no SNES.

  • WTF!!!!!!!! xD

  • I feel like a nerd. My first reaction to this terrible game was "Hey, Donkey Kong wasn't even playable in DKC3" the moment the first level popped up.

  • Odviosly you guys didn't get the joke >.>

  • This song plays in super Mario all stars!

  • damn it the song that plays in the levels just starts playing my head randomly nowadays! XDXD ANNOYING but catchy XD

  • Oh man, that's so embarassing. Looks like all the DKC series are mixed in a single and super bad made one.

  • Eh.... What the heck? SEGA back then dident even like nintendo! Well looks like back then SEGA dident know its enameys

  • This hack is... interesting. The first level appears to be from DKC 3. Comparing it to the same level in the SNES game, the water is not animated and the sky does not scroll. Then there's the lack of a second character on screen. There character animation seems choppier/missing frames.

The colors are a bit muted, but otherwise rather similar to the SNES.

It makes me wonder how well DKC would have performed on a Genesis, provided it were ported by professional development houses.

  • esas musicas son de animaniacs de snes

  • LOL at the scream the snapping croc lets out! sounds like a teen from a 90s thriller was murdered

  • I think if those beavers let loose that blood-curdling scream everytime one was killed in the real version, I'd have had nightmares as a kid.

  • AVGN should review pirated games, including this one! :D

  • I agree!

  • wow its a hack. never seen one of those before. geez man you could say HACK instead of failed sega attempt. they couldnt make crap that crapped crap like this. sega couldnt make a bad game. almost all of theirs looked and were FUN!

  • the description doesn't actually say Sega's the one that failed. From the context, I'm only seeing that it was bootleg pirates that failed.

  • ok but still it should say something like "a failed hackers attempt" but i just noticed it says pirate game in the description. im jus sayin it LOOKS like its sayin sega is the one who failed.

  • Thats sad, this looks like it could be a good game if they had just put more time and effort in the animation and design.

  • Push start to kong!

  • this is super lame. painful to watch

  • Super BinnanunNutzs '99!?

  • the music sounds like from a gay porn

  • how do you know that? :P

  • Actually, it's from Mario. And strange to see DK in a DKC3 level - it should be Dixie or Kiddy Kong.

  • @summ22 it's actually music from snes mario underground tunnel on all stars

  • @summ22 It's donkey kong game, why are you surprised?

  • @summ22 question...how do u know how a gay porn sounds like?

  • @summ22 Bitch PLEASE! Gay porn soundtracks are THOUSANDS of times better then this BS!

  • @summ22 how would you know that

  • Lol, the scream at the title screen is form michael jackson's moonwalk

  • @sisoymolesto yes soo im not crazy!

  • Comment removed

  • hmm how i noticed is it just me or this music on super donkey kong '99 is from super mario world???

    i think not buy maybe...

  • SNES Does what SEGCAN'T

  • Creepy sound effects...

  • The Gnawties, Klumps, Armies, and Krooks sound like cars when defeated.

  • Sega could never handle a game as well made as Donkey Kong Country.

  • The Genesis hardware was 2 years older than the SNES hardware. Also, this is just a hack. It was not made by Sega developers and it has nothing to do with Sega's hardware.

  • who was the palsy nearsighting one-armed lethargic piece of nerd that programmed this thing?

  • Omg they stealed music from mario O_O

  • Stole.

  • lol stealed

  • I not from england so yep.. i dont know too much english.

  • i see... i'm not british or american too, its ok

  • wow looks like this game isnt for the sega and its blast proccesing :D

if the dumbasses that made this game are reading this(i dont think this would happen)here are the errors

    1.too fucking slow!

2.too fucking hard after the world 1!

    3.michael jacksons scream!

    4.music!

5.levels!they suck for your infomation you stupid assholes these tiles from the level in this video are from donkey kong country 3

OMG!!!How could they ruin Donkey Kong COuntry this MUCH!

  • You forgotted about this weird scream when some monsters get hurt.

  • yup, thats also bad there is NOTHING that makes this game even a little good all about this game is bad

  • Hey where in the heck is Diddy Kong?

  • youd would think with all that "blast processing" this game be a bit faster :D

  • Omg Blast processing!

  • This is so crap compared to the SNES version! Didn't know the MegaDrive could be so pants!

  • well now you know :D

  • AND KNIOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE

  • I played this game. The music is A FUCKING HORRIBLE LOOP. This game plays so slow and the later levels you (being after world 1 if I remember right) can be unbelievable hard for something that supposedly doesn't require savestates. The factory world Boss MAY be invincible depending on what you did earlier in the game. TBH, it's technically playable if you're patient and not unlucky but there's plenty of things bad with this game.
