  • I think this is awesome. Its like Roger's is talking to Cash the gambler. It makes the story come out even more. It may not be the best edit but a great thought. Good job! :)

  • kenny rogers was not a highway man.

  • Rogers is much better in this song but Johnny Cash is awesome...

  • holy shit kenny rogers is like 123534634634 times better man hands down, no comparison.

  • ur an amuter

  • good mix dude ,like it alot!!

    WD

  • I like this. Good job.

  • not bad mate, pretty nice job haha, but i think kenny sounds a little bit better, atleast hes voice is so warm :D but nice job!!

  • First off, I don't care what you think and secondly i didn't use a double cassette player.

  • It's okay. Rodgers hands down!

  • Rogers is a very good artist. And same for Cash.

But Rogers, in my opinion, is far better at this song. :)

  • I really like both, but the Cash version is the best.

  • A novel approach, not very smooth but still interesting. I applaud your effort and hope you try again.

  • nice idea but afraid it doesn't work well at all.....

  • ok, i like johnny cash, but kenny rogers gambler is far superior in my opinion...

  • to eyepatchic

yup agre Kenny Rodgers version is far supierior

  • cool idea...!

  • i never thought those two's voices would mix so well, but OMG THEY DO! It would have been so wonderful to hear the two of them sing together. ='( RIP Johnny. WE MISS YOU!

  • OMG!! its Jonny cash n kenny rogers......... I luv them... thanku for putting up this video

  • Love the ending :)

  • Good job getting this version.... but let me ask this: "WHY DO ALL THE GOOD SONG Writers have to be on the MUPPETTS?!?

  • Kenny Rogers and Johnny Cash's performances on the Muppets was awesome though :)

  • because the muppets are good as well.

  • its not a competition to see whos the best

they are both awesome in their own right

  • this was a really great editing job! i didn't even realize it wasn't real until i read the info!

  • Lol...really? u can hear the change easily, but it is still great, i have both versions on my phone lol, i saw Kenny live over easter and my mum and dad were lucky enough to see johnny in 1988 :) i have pictures lol

  • I don't think much of the idea of a duet because their styles are too different.

  • Yes that was my first impression, too. But I actually think that they are both great singers - everyone in his way.

  • I think Kenny Rogers have en better version of the gambler

  • who was the original singer?

  • Kenny Roders

  • :) i think KR has the better version

  • Yep, it's more upbeat but Johnny's is good too, has feeling :)

  • I am a big Johnny Cash fan but they are both American Icons but not just in The United States but all over the world.

  • Got To Say As Much As I'm A Liverpool Fan And Johnny Cash Sang "Burning Ring Of Fire" I Got To Say Kenny Roger's Is Better At This Song.

  • kenny wasnt in the highwayman but still class

  • actualy they could have they were part of the highway men well at least i believe they were

  • they might have done a duet of this song, but even if they did, they didn't release it, i wish they had though. I meant it as they can't do a duet now, because Johnny Cash has died, so unless you can bring him back. A duet is impossible

  • yes they are ledgends
