Well I wear corsets alot and for anyone who wants to try it out or move forward in the fashion is TAKE IT SLOW. Gradually move the lacings tighter when you actually feel extremely comfortable don't get over excited and go straight to tight lacing it's dangerous obviously because the corset is on the ribs and obviously you need to gradually bend the bones. She doesn't have trouble breathing, she is simply soft spoken. It is a dangerous thing to undertake, which is why the process should be taken in very small steps, especially when aiming for that small. Also WHY would she continue this if she was in pain? It doesn't hurt to tight lace...
The thing is it is extremely unhealthy for the body to do this. The reason people stopped tightening the laces to this extreme with corsetry was because it broke ribs and most women died at an early age. Child birth is at most times impossible or result in death during the birth. A body is not meant to do this without EXTREME health risks.

They weren't particularly rude, just asking a lot of questions, which it is to be honest, human nature to be curious about the stranger things in life. They kind of had to do that. If one segment has a set time period and someone goes over that time period they just have to cut it. You saw at the end the guy looking at the camera like what? they probably didn't want anyone at home doing this to their body.
