the "flys" are a feature - because it makes you know which corpes are lootable. corpes from other player (not in your group) etc will not have these flies. also you can run to a stable and let your hourse drag to your location, no big deal. :D

I don't understand why they didn't just use an existing game engine. There's absolutely no benefit to building the game from the ground up. If licensing was an issue, they could have used Crystal Space, or another open source game engine.

and there's still more! because of the the crafting system, the char. creation module, the fact that there's junk/plants/etc. spread throughout the WHOLE game you can yourself, you can create your own "look" if you prefer that and most of all you can be yourself, you have TOTAL freedom and there's NO WAY you'll feel "incased in a box" in Fallen earth. in short: This MMO game has ALOT of freedom and a wide of ways to entertain yourself. This is a MUST for fallout fans/post nuclear war theme!

With this said, I'll tell you more about MY experience with Fallen earth:

This game is a VERY much open game world than in WoW, there's no such things as "invisible walls" or anything that'll make it impossible to get passed, well there is MOUNTAINS in the game but those do you need to go around unless you're on foot.

Further more about 95% of the items in the game can be made with the crafting system in the game, which means you are do not need to use months to get a certain item!

you say that 'because it's a small company, they DO listen to their community'. this is just crap. When LOTRO was being launched, Turbine listened perfectly to the community. There were a lot of Dev Talks and they did everything they could to add your ideas. Later on, when the game was released for about a year, devs no longer have that much contact with the community. this is the case for ALL MMOs.

I disagre with shorty41gtoguy Graphics for me are a great way to initially judge a game. If it looks breathtaking (MW2 or ME2) and usually means an amazing game because the developers clearly put a ridiculous amount of time into perfecting it.

That being said I played this game initially overlooked the graphics... But running around looked ridiculous, the ATV looked cheesy, weapons are silly looking and the physics are ridiculous... Ultimately I could not play for long especially for the price!
