  • Love the move at 2.10 .............1-2, 3-4, move-the-furniture, 7-8 !

Seems like furniture is a common problem for Lindy Hoppers. I was chatting to a guy the other day and discovered we both had dents in our refridgerator doors from accidently kicking them whilst practicing Lindy Charleston in our kitchens !

There's a move called 'Kick The Dog', maybe there should be a move called 'Kick The Refridgerator'.

  • Ah, thank you so much for these videos! They were very helpful and very easy to follow! Thanks again! ^3^

  • Thank you so much for sharing all this info. You're helping me so much. :-) God bless.

  • These Charleston videos are fabulous. Thank you for posting them. If you have a chance and the ability could you post the basic instructions for Balboa? Thanks!

  • Could you count the timing on this step? I'm confused if the tap is on 8 or on the first beat of the next loop. Awesome vids! I love learning this stuff.

  • The tap should be on the second beat of the next loop. It basically substitutes for the rock step.

  • thank you! we are learning your steps in Poland now:))

  • Made famous by Dean Collins, Named after Hal "Savoy" Takier who created the step in Los Angeles during the 1930's...

  • It's called a Savoy kick.

  • ahh! now I remember- thank you!
