yeah dx10 isnt on the mp beta. just dx9. you can destroy trees in singleplayer dx9 though.

The beta is DX9 only and in DX9-multiplayer you wont be able to shoot down trees, just because it puts too much load on the server. It will be possible in DX10-multiplayer tho. In singelplayer treephysics will be there in both dx9 and dx10versions afaik.

Direct x 10 has nothing to do with physics, it's only cut out of the multiplayer dx 9, DX10 multiplayer will have the physics though :).. dx 9 and 10 full version singeplayer games will both have that physics.. dx10 just makes it look better, the lighting and water and shading etc..
