While I love Alessi and a whole cadre of British songstresses; I'm not going to sit back and let people say America doesn't have talent on the same level. The women that come to mind immediately are Jessica Lea Mayfield, Sharon van Etten, and Deb Talan.

@cattiq13 she is a breath of fresh air. Love the music. Love the visual style. I love the little trumpet tune in the song. It is very good. It is a great song void of the usual cookie-cutter themes of sex, drinking, being arrogant and party-party that everyone wants to sing about.
