Well, frankly spoken to my ears all the sounds are thin and a little nasal. As if someone messed with the signal using too much EQ. The partly distorted crunchy sounds are worse than the heavier distorted ones which are acceptable. This may be partly due to your recording method. But then again - it is more than you can ask for for only 120 bucks...
Save your money, its just overrated junk like 99% of all digital guitar processors. If you have no clue about guitar tone (judging from the all rave reviews on the net most people don't) then you'll be probably happy with it but subconsciously you'll be miserable. If I were to describe its tone in one word it would be "offensive" and you can add Digitech, Roland etc to that description.
@OZTLC40 ok your highness... take your elitist ass now and bug off... at that price it obviously is for begginers. you rock in guitar and we fail. we get it. thank you and bye
@Alda1981 well you answered it for everyone. playing piano for 17 years (I've been playing guitar for 34 years) does not make you an authority on guitar tone, it has nothing absolutely to do with it. In fact you do not know what guitar tone is by your own answer. Why don't you just quit before you really stick your foot in it?
@Alda1981 actually I don't give a hoot what you think. I just don't want your unqualified and childish comment to influence someone else to go buy a pod and throw their money down the drain.
@OZTLC40 well i dont see you proving anything... that leaves you with half brain cell? looool... and if you actually played 34 years guitar that means you are like 40. two things. either you fail as individual staying on youtube on this retarded conversation you try to make. or simply you lie and fail again as a person. in general its a fail fail situation for you.
@Alda1981 Still here? Trying to get yourself out of this is only showing you to be the fool that you really are. I wasn't trying to prove anything, I was stating my opinion on the pod. All you have said (apart from your derogatory comments which makes up 90%) is that you have played piano for 17 years and therefore that makes you an instant authority on guitar tone, something that isn't even your instrument? And then when caught out you try to lay a smokescreen with your tripe.
@Alda1981 You are the worst kind of idiot. Shut the fuck and stop watching any shit I plan to watch in future. Stop saying fail out of context like it's your word.
@sim0nst3r You will still need headphones or speakers plugged in to hear what you are editing. The USB is for program changes and communicating them. Thanks for watching, you rock!!!!
How does pocket pod work with analog pedals? I have a Big muff pi with tone wicker, cry baby classic, tube screamer Ts9 and Echo Delay electro harmonix. I want pocket pod for modulation effects and amps simulator. Answer plz!
@slash23adrian It will work just fine, You will need to find the right position for it before the AMP/RECORDER. But plug your guitar into your Cry baby then all your Drive pedals, then into the pod then into your Echo delay then out. Try both the stereo and amp out see what works best. Program your clean modulated sounds in the computer if you can (More Access). Thanks for watching.
goody ,,how to delete all presets ?? ,,{i have one used no manual or usb chords or software ,,,,want to use foe acoustic and start fresh ?? thanx great vid
@rrrrockin Thanks, you can not erase but you can reset or create a new one in it's place. Press up arrow, and save while plugging in your guitar (YEEEEESSSHHH) and then respond with save or cancel. Go create your profile at loudguitars and download tones for free!!!! I sent you a private message with a link to the manual.
Great vid...with my pro tools set-up, how do I record from the pod? I'm guessing the effects are stereo, so you'd need a stereo line out from it...correct?
@naedsukram yes if you want to use the stereo feature a stereo line out would be good. You can use a stereo (balanced) 1/4 inch from the amp out direct into a line input in Pro tools and get your stereo effect as well. I use it both ways, it is a truly great unit. Just packed again today for our road trip to Metal Fest!!!! Thanks for watching!
can this be used as a pedal to an amp if i manually switch the settings?
