  • Nice, I've been playing this song on the ukulele for a long time and I wish I could do it as good as you do it here

  • I really like the energy you put into this song!

I feel people are being too series/rude in these comments, I can't believe it. Music is art and an artist can do what they want with the song... ): But I really liked it.

  • Fantastic job on a great song that works very well on the ukulele. Thanks for posting it!

  • this was sweet! but you made me feel panic-y it was so fast! but your very cute and funny.

  • Good job. I've done a version myself, have a look. It's such a fun song to play. As regards the tempo I was hoping you'd speed up even more, for a giggle.

  • man....i cant beleive some of the egg head comments you got on this song.I think you played the song very well, thanks for posting.Nice playing.

  • wow thanks duder, for that ill add more videos.

  • The tempo in the beginning probably would have been a lot nicer.

    Jus sayin'

    5*

  • This is excellent, but seriously bud,you need a METRONOME. Your tempo is all OVER the map. Your strumming patterns are great too.

  • its jazz, the music makes its own rules. im sure i didnt even p[lay all the right chords, but thats the nature of the jam.

    thank you

  • I can accept the jazz thing without a hint of trouble. However, I'm still thinking that jazz at least acknowledges a governing tempo. My experience as a player is minimal, but my experience as a dancer is a bit more and I learned a thing or two about jazz from Frankie Manning personally - in dance, the beat is the rule around which you make your own style. Musically, your version is excellent except that it needs to at least acknowledge a core tempo around which it can play. It'd sound better.

  • listen to charlie parker's jupiter and try to find a set tempo. i didnt set the rules, i just live in them.

take a metronome on a 4/4 and speed it up as the song goes. im consistent.

  • Not sure that I agree with the comparison there, but that's fine. You seem to be aware of what you are doing. I was just trying to call your attention to the drastic and somewhat unusual tempo changes that don't exist in the original piece and would get some rather unpleasant looks from the guys that I know that play in bands. It's the sort of thing that would be fine jamming with friends who know your style, but doesn't seem to have enough of a pattern that you could just improvise on the fly.

  • This probably has no relevance to you as you play - even less so since this is a solo bit, but I think it's worth noting to those who are looking at your piece as a learning tool that this sort of thing might not go over too well if playing with a drummer and a bass or something.

  • well i play in a few bands and i major in theory, so i understand the dynamics of music pretty well, i just made this video to be silly and fun.

  • very very cool!

  • UR COOL CAN U TELL ME HOW TO DO IT
