@powerlifting1by1 Hi, thanks for checking in! Yes, still losing. I'm seriously behind in making videos, etc. So much going on right now. I had some ups and downs which made me realize, for me anyways, 100% raw is the way to go. High raw is too unpredictable for me. Have a rawsome day! :)
@DrKojiin Yeah, the chair breaking was definitely a low point for me. Glad you're enjoying the videos! I'm going to be making a new update soon, so stay tuned! :)
Peter, I know it's not for everyone and it's not available everywhere but since I can see that you are willing to try things, look into Bikram yoga. The ppl that like it get hooked right away. It's fantastic to modify your body fast and weight loss. Fast paced, 90 mins in a heated room. Be sure to drink lots of water before and after or you could get dehydrated in one session.
Yoga is on my list of things to try. I need to lose a bit more fat before I do it, but I certainly will give it a try and see if it's for me. I have some yoga videos at home, so I might try that first. I've heard a lot of good things about yoga, thanks! :)
I did, there's a pretty good write up about it on Wikipedia. At this point, any yoga is the same to me though - I need to lose a bit more fat before I feel daring enough to try it. I must admit though, I'm really into high heat and high temperatures though... but I'm always willing to try something at least once before I make up my mind.
You mean you are NOT into heat, right? Yes, I like open minded people too, and I agree with losing more weight before. You'd struggle too much, may not even be healthy for you at this point. You are doing great, tho.
Yes, that's what I meant, thanks! I don't really like high heat and temperatures, but yes, once I lose a bit more weight I'd be willing to at least try it.
Aww, thanks! And I've learned a lot about my relationship to food too. And after doing this 100 day juice fast, I won't ever complain about being hungry again! I know I can get through it! The positive trade off is that I'm sure to lose a bit of fat.
I saw your interview by Michelle of SunFoods when you two were in Maryland at Raw Spirit. I am glad that I checked out your channel. I could totally feel your "motification". The gym wll be great and simply standng and WALKING around your home, around the block will be a great way to just get MOVING. Anyway from what I saw in that interview video you´re doing FANTASTIC. Best wishes!
That was great of Michelle to interview me, and you can really see a difference! I'm so glad I made a few videos in the earlier stages of my weight loss and going raw. I do go to the gym, but am still a bit self-conscious about being seeing working out in public. Although I do walk 3+ miles almost daily. Nice way to get some light exercise, fresh air and listen to some inspiring audiobooks on my iPod.
Hah! You found my videos! I was going to do a few more videos and lose some more weight before I told you about them. But that's OK. I really owe it to you bro, for turning me on to raw foods. Thank you! :) At this point I've lost 63 pounds and counting! Time to do some new videos!
Good luck Peter. I'm not over weight but am getting into raw food for the health benefits. I've subscribed to your blog and will follow your progress. Good luck.
Thanks! The accountability will help me too, knowing that other people are following my progress. I don't want to let anyone down, and especially not myself! :)
