  • @JSasRays Because if you listen to 'bullshit' then you can't listen to Emarosa. Oh wait you can. Get the fuck over it.

  • @partygirlwholovesny just pointing out that the fact that those artists get like over 10 million views yet this, which is 10 times better has 120,000. pretty sad. anyway, shut the fuck up.

  • @JSasRays yep I hate it when bands like this don't get recognition they deserve yet heavily generic pop music is the best thing since sliced bread to most people

  • @partygirlwholovesny go take another shot shot shot shot to the face.

  • @dorrick Is that supposed to be like LMFAO or something? That's funny because I saw them live. c: so you should probably stop talking. kthanksbye.

  • @JSasRays cause this isn't a music video and Emrarosa didn't release it as a single? wow that comment shows you know absolutely nothing about how the music industry works so just stfu and go home.

  • Gahhh listening to Emarosa just makes me want to cry <3 vocals and instrumentals and great lyrics......orgasm.

  • this song is bombbbbbb

  • omg what is this?

    it's amazing O.O

  • @TinoMexineoMtz a song?

Naw, haha but it's classified as post-hardcore

  • @purplshock487 sorry but this isnt classified as post-hardcore. it has no screaming in it.

  • @GBOBass1 Really? I thought post-hardcore didn't need to have screaming? My bad on the false information.

  • @purplshock487 Well the list of post-hardcore bands i know are : dance gavin dance(to an extent), scarlett o' hara, ten after two, emery, the color morale, attack attack!, of mice and men, the devil wears prada, memphis may fire, miss may i, woe is me. Those r just some of the bands i know that are post-hardcore and they all scream haha. So im guessing it does have to deal with screaming cuz i mean 'hardcore' is a genre of all screaming haha. :)

  • @GBOBass1 Yeahhh I was told Dance Gavin Dance is classified as experimental because they're all over the place... And that hardcore does have screaming but since it is Post-Hardcore it doesn't. Darn the faulty information and infinite music labels out there... haha

  • @purplshock487 Yeah i would definitely put DGD out of post-hardcore, they are way too different for 1 genre. but yeah most of the bands in Rise are post-hardcore :). It's w.e its all music anyway! :)

  • @GBOBass1 Yeah hahaha. Let's just enjoy the wonderful song! :}

  • @GBOBass1 Scarlett O'hara, ATTACK! ATTACK!, Of mice & men, The devil wears prada, memphis may fire, miss may I and Woe, is me are all metalcore/hardcore. Get your facts right.

  • @GBOBass1 Post hardcore is like D.R.U.G.S., Broadway, Emarosa, DGD (technically) and those bands. Post hardcore is usually mostly singing, with screaming in the backround or just not as much.

  • and the bands i corrected you on are mostly crazy screamers (not a bad thing, not at all) and, yeah. not being me or anything, just correcting.

  • @skiierman100 naw you're fine no worries :). It's true, i actually just googled all of the bands I named to try to get some back-up info, and most of them were Metalcore actually. Some of them were post-hardcore, and I'd say some are both so that's true :).

  • I can't stop listening to this song.

  • can't there be a single emarosa video without a Jonny fucking Craig argument...

  • @stoneytg prolly not lol

i get tired of seeing them too, i just enjoy the band and theyre music. lol

  • Because there is so much talk about who is singing, or dropped out, or whatever, there is no true recognition of how great this band is.

  • @Squididdly

    GOOD POINT!

I dont really know what the deal with i&g was really.. One of the greatest disappointments of all time. Its a common feat among super groups it seems though. Its gotta be entirely in the writing process of such a array of 'comfortable' musicians....

anyone know what roush is up to?

  • Comment removed

  • If I tried to take everything in this world that reminded me of you,

It would be so empty that fucking God himself would have to start again...

    so fucking epic.

    I miss you mom<3

  • @Johwanfane and his eyes would roll back in his head, and he'd pretend it never happened. <3

  • Goosebumbs all the way to my anal creves:D

  • i'm gonna miss jonny craig so much. this band was amazing with him. now i will just buy all his future solo albums.

  • @ghilliephantom Jonny craig. No 'H' (: js

  • Nobody's pretending you don't feel the same thing. Greatest lyrics, and greatest part of the song!

  • jonny is emarosa.

  • I like this.

  • this is for the blind and stupid people.......JOHNNY IS EMAROSA!!!! without him is not the same.

  • @FuckThat2pointO JONNY no "H"

  • @FuckThat2pointO i dissagree old emarosa is so so much better with chris rotter

  • so happy jonny left. now it's emarosa not jonny craig.

  • Jonny, to a certain extent, makes the band.

  • @31kelc I would love to agree with you but dgd suffered. Still toured but lost a lot. You know just like I do. Craig didnt make dgd but it forced the guitarist to scream which he does amazingly well with but it moved that screamer to sing and he sucks! DGD was good because of the dynamic of a horrible screamer in contrast to a amazing singer

  • @munkeydisco I'm not trying to be deliberately contrary, but I'm not entirely sure you know what you're talking about.

If Whatever I Say wasn't SUCH a good EP, I'd say Kurt & Jon worked best & made the best music for DGD on the self-titled album. Skyhook, for example, is an AMAZING song. Sure DTBM was awesome, but mostly for Jon Mess & his screams, not for Jonny.

I say this because DTBM II, in comparison where Jonny features more, is not such a good album.

  • @Squididdly dtbm II is fucking awesome, get the fuck out bro

  • @Squididdly that ep isnt really THAT great man. Plenty of bands have sounded like that AND the screaming is still that weak scream that always sounds like "BLECH BLECH BLECH" no matter the words. People will always need support so thank gawd theres you. DTBM II?!?! I completely agree with you. Just like his solo album. 2 good tracks and a boring listen. Dgd, emarosa, or whatever he does is great with him but NOT when collaborative writing efforts are centered round him.

  • @munkeydisco Well that I can agree with somewhat.

Although Isles & Glaciers wasn't particularly centered around Jonny and most of their songs came out horribly disappointing.

But I'd rather listen to Relativity than the self-titled (but I'd use this album to introduce someone who doesn't like the genre to Emarosa) and for DGD I'd prefer to listen to DTBM, Whatever I Say & the self-titled over DTBM II.

Though People You Knew is an awesome song, and The Robot w/ Human Hair 2.5 is good, too.

  • No.. Johnny does not MAKE the band. The band would be fine without Johnny. Johnny adds to it sure as a singer but he doesn't make the band. DGD has been amazing with and without Johnny. Actually there are alot of people who don't like Johnny Craig. Yes he has a good voice but he alone does not MAKE the band.

  • johnny craigs voice is heartful

  • They are the best! :D

  • if i hear one more fucking thing about jonny craig & macbooks im gonna flip a shit. who gives a fuck if he scammed people, he publicly apologized for it & HES AN AMAZING ARTIST. so fuck off haters.

  • @31kelc

HI GUYS THIS IS AL QAEDA JUST THOUGHT ID SAY SORRY ABOUT THAT 9/11 THING.

    YOURS TRULY, AQ. <3

  • @31kelc jonny craig & macbooks lmao

  • Comment removed

  • @31kelc I see someone got their Macbook ;)

  • @31kelc you must have bought a mac from jonny. LOL

  • @31kelc dude for real

  • @31kelc anyone that has ever worked with him has claimed that he's an asshole, so lol.

  • @CBabyIcedOut who cares......? like tbh with a voice like that who wudnt b???

  • we find love. <3

  • Even in the hardest of times, We find Love <3

  • @lilyovthevalley truetrue. <3

  • Regardless, Emarosa & Dance Gavin Dance are both really amazing bands with or without Johnny Craig. Johnny Craig's voice is amazing and all, but what about the other band members? They deserve credit as well. It's a team effort. So just STFU & enjoy the music, cause in the end that's what makes us all love these two bands. (:

  • 2 people will die tonight.

  • Does Johnny Craig say "eh" a lot? I'm curious. I've only really listened to his singing. (I've nothing against him, I just think there is some sort of humor to be exploited from the fact that he is Canadian)

  • @Shakai Lol yea, I just found that out today. And I hate Canadians. But Jonny kinda changes my mind, haha.

  • @mrsgrimmjowjaggerjak Also he's back in rehab. Greeeeat. :<

  • @mrsgrimmjowjaggerjak why the fuck do you hate canadians?

  • @Shakai no he doesnt say eh a lot.. he sounds american

  • Anyone saying JC made Dance Gavin Dance obviously didn't hear Happiness.

  • @TrifectaStudio i agree 100%

  • that one lonely person who dislikes this song can go die.

  • these guys were great live...hearing them live is hearing the recording...

  • this.band.is.perfection. <3

  • @Novacaine4pain1234 Lol I never said you hated anything. I'm saying you confirm the stereotype that everyone just listens to Emarosa for Johnny, not Emarosa.

  • @ImIHxCImI Johnny Craig MAKES Emarosa what it is. He made Dance Gavin Dance. Without Johnny Craig this band would fall to shit and we all know it.

  • @lyssapwnsyourmom See you're a complete idiot. The members of Emarosa are fucking amazing. They're just looked over by people like you. Great riffs, drum rolls, and it all just blends so perfectly. With or without him they're amazing. And way too confirm all you care about is him (: point proven

  • @ImIHxCImI I'm a complete idiot because of my opinion? Mkay, 'cause that makes sense. I've seen Emarosa live, and yes they're good but the other members are just like any other drummers and/or guitarists you'd find in a decent underground band now. You can't 'look over' the rest of the band dumbass. Obviously if you're listening to them you can't look them over. What an idiot you are. And no, without him, they would fall to shit, just like DGD did. Point proven. Any other invalid arguments?

  • @lyssapwnsyourmom They failed because you and the Johnny Craig superfans gave all of the attention too him. Theres your reason smart ass. And yes its because of your opinion, if they had a decent singer both bands would do alright, but because the genre of music they play they did fail. No one pays too much too them Chiodos, or Decoder because all of you make such a fuss over the singer, and neglect the fact the band works so hard to compliment their voice, and have musical talent of their own.

  • @ImIHxCImI a lot of people wouldnt even listen to emarosa or dance gavin dance without jonny there. so they should be happy people like JC because without him, they probably would be out of a job.

  • @31kelc You do know Emarosa were a successful band without Jonny Craig, right?

And DGD were equally successful when he left?

In fact, a lot of people couldn't give a shit about Jonny Craig, because they actually *enjoy* music, lyrics and the energy of the actual song, rather than the person who rains a ton of shit down on his bandmates because of his ludicrous Twittering, attitude & drug habits.

So he sings well... who gives a shit? doesn't give you a license to be a disrespectful moron.

  • @Squididdly Agreed.

  • @Squididdly I don't mean to offend anyone, especially anyone from this band and Dance Gavin Dance,

But Jonny Craig IS Emarosa. He makes the band, well, what it is, really.

Dance Gavin Dance actually weren't exactly successful without Jonny. At least I don't think so.

Jonny Craig will never be just another "guy who left the band".

He practically made the band, so it had to be expected that him leaving would break it.

    Anyway, let's stop this nonsense.

I came here to listen to good music.

  • @pokemoncoreify I can agree to disagree.

I've seen Jonny live a number of times, I've seen him sing to a pre-recorded track, acapella, with the band. He tries too hard. He's so obsessed with being the next Justin Timberlake, or whoever, he doesn't perform to his strengths any more.

Back when Whatever I Say came out with DGD, dear God he made some beautiful music. After Relativity, things slipped... bad. People are noticing, in comparison to dedicated soul singers, his voice is average at best.

  • @Squididdly other soulful singers?? in this genre?? i need names mannn!!

  • @jadealane0223 Dallas Green... but it looks like he'll just be solo now, since Alexisonfire broke up. We Are The Ocean (English band) has a vocalist that sounds very similar to Dallas Green. Tyler Carter (Woe, is Me).

The rest I've come across aren't really 'soulful,' just very good singers.

Check out Versus the Ocean, Aim For the Sunrise, The Blackout, and other relatively unknown bands. They're having a lot of fun with the Emarosa/DGD style.

(I've seen them all live, and they kill it.)

  • @jadealane0223 I would try Midnight Matinee. The closest I've seen to anything resembling "soul" besides Emarosa and DGD songs.

  • @lyssapwnsyourmom Are you an idiot? Emarosa HAS existed with a previous singer, you know..

  • @lyssapwnsyourmom agreed. jonny craig makes these bands what they are. his voice is so unique that you cant find anyone else without it.

  • @Novacaine4pain1234 No you're just refering to Johnny. I like that comment Ghille wrote. Hop off of his dick, the whole band brings an emotion no other band can bring. They match him perfectly, and do their own thing, but your support doesn't support that, its just "The Johnny Craig Band".

  • most badass part is (1:25 - 1:48) If I tried to take,

    Everything in this world,

    That reminded me of you,

    It would be so empty,

    That Fucking God himself,

    Would have to start again,

And his eyes would roll back in his head,

And he pretend it never happened.

    thats some true shit

  • This Song Gave Me An Eargasm, 10 times.

  • "If I tried to take everything in this world that reminded me of you, it would be so empty that fucking God himself would have to start again. And his eyes would roll back in his head, and he'd pretend it never happened." gives me chillls <333333

  • you raped the belly button?!?

    :)

  • I didn't rape the replay button.

I made sweet, sweet love to it ;) xDDD

    I love Emarosa <3

  • Yeah Jonny Makes this song what is it, pure fucking emotion

But goddamn the band plays this so well and takes it to another level, it's not technical, but damn it's great fucking music.

  • it still amazes me that they somehow take all my thoughts and put them to beautiful, powerful, inspiring music and make everything that is wrong in my life seem a little better (:

  • No matter how hard you fucking try, You'll never make me stop hitting replay.

  • <33333333333333333333333333333333333333333333

  • jonny craigs voice is amazing

  • i really like this song!

  • Probably one of my favorite Emarosa songs ever.

  • I don't even listen to Emarosa, but I know enough to tell all of you faggots. You don't like Emarosa. You like Johnny Craig. You have no apparition for their musicianship, which is so so sad.

  • @NATETiPPiE um... actually i like the entire band, jonny is just icing on the cake. and whats wrong with liking jonny? he's extremely talented, just like he rest of the band. try not to catagorize everyone in one pile please.

  • Glad to say I discovered Emarosa at a concert.

  • @josefiSnch me too.. in sayreville nj.. where did you see them?

  • @LumbyMcGumby Seattle, Washington, haha.

  • I could listen to his voice forever and ever<3

    Its absoloutely mesmerizing

  • I don't understand...

    Why are they so wonderful??<3

    I love it.<3

  • i love them always have, always will.. music will live on forever.

  • I know Jonny Craig has a bad ass voice but like.. there's other band members that deserve credit too such as.. ER White, Jonas Ladekjaer,Jordan Stewart, Lukas Koszewski and Will Sowers. They make the band just as awesome as Jonny Craig does.. they are a team to make awesome music like this and all of the other band members deserve credit too. Because the band's name is Emarosa not just Jonny Craig.

  • @smileyash1013 stop trying to get to the top of the comment pile martyr boy

  • @smileyash1013

I couldn't agree with you more. Though I only discovered Emarosa through Jonny Craig about a year and a half ago..? I would have to say that the entire band is incredibly talented, and I do like a lot of their stuff before Jonny.

His contribution to this band takes amazing instrumentalists, and adds orgasmic vocalist flare. God, I just love this fucking band. All of it. <33

  • @smileyash1013 well heres the thing, if any other band members get replaced, would you notice? if jonny gets replaced would it seem like the same band? would you still listen? don't wanna sound like a dick but thats how it is.

  • The ending is so trancy and pretty x:

  • Sung with the power of a hurricane, filled with the emotion of a thousand goodbyes...Emarosa's songs are both beautiful and powerful...wow
