That's how Ross Robinson (producer) tracks all of the parts. He gets everybody in there playing together to bring out that raw live feel.

Nah man, it's not. I remember back in the late 90's, looking for slipknot unmasked videos or pictures and rehearsal or show footage. I found this along with the Surfacing recording footage. It's definitely real. In any case, they're playing the songs note for note, and Joey looks like Joey while Ross looks like . . . Ross.
