@roark2howard oh my god that totally worked ok so what you do is um well what i did is i took my finger and as i was hiting the high notes i make my finger go down and down thinking i am lowering my voice so that will make your mind and body think it a lower note

@98roflol You use the same muscles to sing high notes as you do when you go to the bathroom or give birth if you're a girl. You "push down" with those muscles to sing high notes.

@ros143111 You are not doing the warms up correctly and that is causing your fatigue. You should be able to sing for hours on end without that happening. I'd be happy to work with you to correct this problem.
@ros143111 You were taught or formed some habits that are causing these problems but can easily be corrected with the correct technique. The voice is quite resilient when good habits are developed.
Oh my gosh! This is amazing. I'm an alto and I've been singing for years, but I have ALWAYS ALWAYS struggled to hit anything above a high D, especially when I'm not warmed up. I haven't sand all day and I just tried this. My voice just sounds so much more confident and Ahhh! I'm so happy I found this.
Only thing that you need to be careful of is not to go flat or sharp depending on which direction you're going. I found myself going flat when trying to hit my higher notes whilst thinking of going lower. It'll definitely take some practice
This totally works Im in the sound of music and i have to sing really high for this one line that goes When you Know the notes to sing..you can sing most anything! and its very difficult this really helped me thanks!
umm my vocal coach pratices with me vocal excirses , everytime i sing on stage i sing excellant but when i dnt sing on stsge my voice cracks and i need that not to happen what if somebdy calls me on the spot to sing what do i do.
@acrockrom It seems like you're experiencing something very common. Many times it might be easier to sing in front of a larger audience, rater than a single person or a small group, so your nerves may be getting the better of you. When you start to feel the nerves, just recognize that it's only energy and decide to use that energy in your performance, rather than trying to stop it.

Technically, you bend your neck forward, you can sing high. Look upward and you can sing low.
I'm bad a singing too... i realized this when i was just doodling in the shower.
I breathe right... though, SOMETIMES my will trip into the nasal zone, and i'm still having some trouble with resonance.
I'm an E2-G4 as well.. bass.
I have no idea why i shared all of that information... i guess it's because i have no one else to share it with. :-(

It'll definitely take some practice

umm my vocal coach pratices with me vocal excirses , everytime i sing on stage i sing excellant but when i dnt sing on stsge my voice cracks and i need that not to happen what if somebdy calls me on the spot to sing what do i do.
acrockrom 1 year ago
@acrockrom It seems like you're experiencing something very common. Many times it might be easier to sing in front of a larger audience, rater than a single person or a small group, so your nerves may be getting the better of you. When you start to feel the nerves, just recognize that it's only energy and decide to use that energy in your performance, rather than trying to stop it.

As seen as he said it I got it. One of those things where you think 'how could I have not just noticed that myself?'. Well I didn't, but he did. Bloody brilliant!
