I've known 99.999% percent of the players since grade school, over 92% from preschool or kindergarten. Except Hawaiian Punch and few others were those boys born in Lima or Delphos Medical Center and raised in the town of Delphos. We don't pay for our players, or there wouldn't be any school at all. That is pure disrespect from everyone that says such. Stop it.
Lehman Catholic vs Delphos should have been the Championship game, but due to the regional finals against minster, OHSAA didn't want the possibility of having 2 MAC conference teams in the finals. Lehman Catholic gave them the best game throughout the entire playoffs. Delphos could have beaten almost all of the state champions in ohio this past year, maybe up to division 2

Shadyside just in wrong place at wrong time. Delphos should have won last years title game by 21+ but were overconfident. Nobody had a shot to beat them in this game unless Marion Local would have got there and still think Delphos wins that rematch. Their offense hit stride in playoffs. 6 titles for St. John's all with homegrown talent and they had 2nd and 3rd string score, did not run up score. Blue Jay starters and subs outscored 5 playoff opponents starters 297-21. Beat 11 playoff teams 2010.
Delphos was supposed to win it all and did. Little Shadyside was not even considered a possibility for the state chami\pionship game, but had a fantastic season. The kids from Shadyside have nothing to be ashamed of at all.

DSJ doesn't recruit, I am from a rival school in the MAC and everyone there knows this is true. They were truly a kickass team in 2010
