to be honest theese cars are some of the most reliable of cars the chance of something breaking whilst crashing is unlikley unless its the wishbone thats mainly the only thing that will break and this only occurs if you crash a high speeds

i got one, when tuned nicley it'll go about 30-35mph, excellant at wheelies, and if you upgade a few things on it it will go up to about 40 if ur lucky, very very good car

i think the firestorm is a great truck! the only thing that i dont like is where the battery pack sits (right at the very back) you could say its not as protected as one onboard the main chassis

Jato and firestorm are different, Firestorm is single speed, radared my friends one at

41mph , my other friend 3.3 Jato did 64mph,

But it have 2 speed and the 3.3 is stronger also, in an other hand, the firestorm is built better in my opinion and handle beating better. Depend what youll do with it and where you run.

Sorry, but this would eat any Jato, Stampede, or Rustler around the track. This is more of a RACING truck, not a fun truck like the Traxxas vehicles. Take a look at the RC10 GT- this is more along the lines of that, and this thing would rape any Traxxas on a course.

I have a xtm xt2 1/8 buggie.i have a question. the spuer gear thats on the engine, keeps slipping away from the other gear thats connected to the 4 wheel drive. I think the screws are bent on the bottom of the the engine, thats connected the chassie(this adjst the mesh of the gears), but i have no idea y this keeps on happening. can you help me.

Use thread lock to keep the screws in place. Thats the first thing that comes to mind to fix the problem if the screws aren't horribly bent out of shape.

change the front tires and they handle just as good as a firestorm
