Most people think this was an advert for R Whites lemonade. Actually it was a public awareness film alerting people to the downward spiral your life would take once becoming hooked on the stuff. In 1978 the first 'R Whites Anonymous' group was set up and soon after many sprung up throughought the country

@chaoreturnsforgood76 It's Ross McManus singing, but the actor is Julian Chagrin, and I'm pleased to say he's still alive. He has been living in Israel since 1976. He starred in an episode of The Avengers in the 60's, with a ridiculously long title "Look (Stop me if you've heard this one.) but there were these two fellas."

Back when I was a kid R White's Lemonade was GREAT - that and 7up were my favourite fizzy drinks but sometime in the 1990's they messed with the original recipe and started using artificial sweeteners in the REGULAR version of the beverage and now it tastes wrong.
