i dont know what it is about this band about this sound, but i feel like i get a breath of fresh air that comes from some special place, probably new zealand, man i wish i could move there and start a band thats fresh like this oh yea whatever hes wearin on the drums i want one of those, business suits suck, what a horrible choice and uncomfortable on i might add for what to wear thats socialby acceptable. hope to meet you one day mcphun

how is this band not bigger? they're an accessible animal collective. don't get me wrong, i love AC-- but this band panders to a broader audience. i'm surprised they're not more well known. maybe once fight softly comes out they'll blow up.

Pet sounds is influencing a LOT of current artists. That's a very good thing. For example; Grizzly Bear, Jason Little (sp?) from Grandaddy, Monolake. All that stuff is good. Plus a lot of Crosby,Stills and Nash influence with Band of horses and Fleet Foxes. A lot of interesting music today!
