When I think about it, I don't know why I did it. I think it was therapeutic and helped me to relieve tension. I felt good - it gave me pleasure. A child is a precious gift, and you abused that gift to make yourself "feel better"? Are you truly proud of what you did to them, because if so, you never deserved to bear children. They didn't make you do it, you chose to.

I've been abused for all of my life. I'm still being abused. I'm fifteen and my boyfriend and my unbiological older brother want me to call social services, but I don't want to. I don't want to go through court. I really want someone to talk to. I talk to Ian and Michael, but I want to talk to someone who understands. I understand exactly how you feel. I don't think I ever will be. My parents aren't letting me go... Until just a year ago I wasn't even aware that I was being abused. I actually had several of my elementry school teachers ask about my bruises, but I would give them the same excuse everytime: "I fell." The only person who knew was this boy called Jon, but he never said anything. He was my best friend and still is. Anyway, I need someone to talk to...my parents got me a counselor for my cutting, but I haven't seen them yet.
