Most things will be open and yes, the prices do seem to go up during holidays and festivals. It will be very crowded and the Dutch like to set off firecrackers to celebrate the New Year, so you'll hear a lot of them being set off and then the streets will be covered with exploded paper.

You have to be extra aware of pickpockets and if you're wearing a backpack you better be sure that no one is following you around and unzipping your compartments and stealing from you. I've seen it happen. In some shops the prices of buds will go up. Some whores will charge more. Always try to negotiate your price when talking to the whore before you go in her cabin.

No problem with your questions. I don't think you'll have any problem finding a coffeeshop open for business. The New Year's celebration is a big party. The coffeeshops aren't going to close up and miss out on that business... unless they sell out of their supplies of weed! Different shops have different hours of operation, some close early, some are open well past midnight. You should have no worries.
The music is copyright-free. It's what I have to work with and I'll be using up the entire library. All the tracks will get used regardless of how cheesy the music is. Thanks for the feed back.

GottaHaves at the Bulldog Coffeeshop refers to the line of souvenirs and smoking accessories they sell there as well as weed. That particular Bulldog, Oudezijds Voorburgwal 90, is generally recognized as the 1st coffeeshop in Amsterdam. It seems to attract a lot of young & naive tourists who don't know any difference. Believe me, there are dozens of coffeeshops which have better atmosphere, clientele & weed.

I'm getting some negative feedback about the title because some people are expecting to see whores in windows, but trying to shoot pictures and video of the women can result in having your camera taken from you. I try to play by the rules and shoot in open areas where cameras are not frowned upon.
The whole video was filmed from the same spot. And most of it was of urinals! How about moving around a bit??? I nearly died from boredom.
