This is a major part of the film. For just a few minutes, both Celia and Martin remove their guards and open themselves up emotionally, free of head-games and deceit. The irony being despite Celia and Martin's cruel cat-and-mouse 'relationship' with each other, she provides Martin with one of the most important experiences of his life.

I encourage you to see a little known movie with Weaving called "The Interview." Great movie ten years after this one.

I watched this film on IFC, my god it was absolutely wonderful. 5/5 stars!!!

and yes, that is Smith from the Matrix, also Lord Elrond of LOTR.

I still think about this scene... so I searched for it and found it here!

I think most people wont understand it without the context of the movie. But, it was a great moment in the story.

Great little film... even has Russell Crowe in it, before he was a huge star too.
