It doesn't make sense that Crystal has only 1 Emmy. She's just amazing..one of the best actresses I've ever seen. She should've won last year. Her acting in the Otalia story was perfect and she totally deserved it
I do not get the fervor over this. Olivia was not stable as a character, by that I mean you didn't know what her personality was other than she would sleep with anyone man or woman anytime. Oh she's pretty well I'm sure that brings those horndogs here but what about Blake, Harley and Jenna who to my knowledge did not win.
I think the actress that played Harley has won not sure if it was supporting or lead though Jenna has died off the show and Blake hasnt had a storyline in years sadly.
Remember that the award isn't about how much you like the character, it's about how well the actor plays it. While I see you like some better than Olivia, it seems that those actresses didn't garner as much praise from the judges for playing difficult scenes as Crystal Chappell did. As a side note, while Olivia probably would've slept with any man, she's not bisexual, & wouldn't have slept with *any* woman, just one woman. She and Natalia were in love. They were both still considered straight.
It can not be that this is going to be her only Award for her role as Olivia Spencer. I hope that they will remember her preformance next year. This woman is so gifted. And I believe that she has never been more beautiful then this year.

I don't watch any other soaps, but it's just difficult to believe given her acting skills and the storyline material that she wouldn't have at least been a nominee! I always think the best actors are the ones who communicate so much without having to utter a word, and she has that in spades.
well i watch like all the soaps in some form but the nominees this year are superb. i do wish that chappell was nominated in lead actress cause all the other nominees weren't that great besides jeanne cooper. i saw the list and i wasn't very impressed.
