  • paella with instant rice? high five.

  • Oh my lord....NO!!!!! I am glad when people try and cook other cultures cuisine however, this is not a paella... there isnt a person in spain who would prepare a paella this way. spanish cooking is an art. the average 9 year old boy from spain could cook a paella better than this. you can not buy rice like that, or dried peas, or small prawns. you need , large beautiful shrimp, calamari, tomato, spanish onion, chicken thigh is fine. pretty much everything this lady neglected to research.

  • May be you could investigate for the real name of this recipe. What is sure is that THIS IS NOT A PAELLA

Look for "Belseher paella" in youtube or go to " lapaella. net " for the original recipes of Valencian Paella.

They are very simple to cook.

We never use onion because it makes the rice too much soft. NO GARLIC AT all

We also never mix chicken and seafood. There is a paella with chicken and another with seafood. In fact there is a great number of rice recipes

  • Horrible...

  • 1) Learn to say it correctly , its not pie-ay-LA ....

    2) Learn the ACTUAL ingredients of real Spanish Paella

    3) Learn how to cook paella ( nothings is cooked separate)

    4) Rename this video Sainsbury's Shitty Paella Recipe

  • PIE-AY-LA ?......

    Its pronounced PIE-AYE-AH .

GAH, You should probably just leave it to the Spaniards.

  • my wife is Valencian and i cringe when i see these Videos. I would like to apologise to all Spanish people for all the Paella videos put on YouTube by English people. Seriously, I don't mind that they try to do it there own version, but just say IT'S MY OWN VERSION.

I mean even the 1st ingredient is WRONG! There is no onion, so why put it. arrhh!

  • @DJFearRoss she's scottish!

  • this is not a spanish paella,i'm spanish and my mum always cook the real paella, and she never use this yellow rice, this is an insult, its not paella u just make a yellow rice dish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ay mare que le ha puesto chorizo a la paella O_o

  • This is not how Paella is originally cooked, it should all be cooked in one paella pan.

  • chorizo en la paella!??!

  • i so disagree. wrong chorizo too. it does look even appetizing berk!

she s the wosrt cook ever! for god sake! use proper ingredients! it s so gross!

  • Spanish food is wonderful

  • Paella is a rice dish from Spain that has become very popular and is known around the world. It originated in the fields of a region called Valencia in eastern Spain. Valencian people prepared the dish with whatever ingredients they had on hand - rabbit, snails and vegetables. Today paella has spread to every region of Spain, using just about any kind of ingredient that goes well with rice!

  • paella w chorizo omg why plus red onion? and the rice haha THIS IS NOT PAELLA AND BY THE WAY THE DISH IS TO MAKE IT NOT TO SERVE IT IGNORANT

  • In spain, we never put chorizo in the paella. the chorizo´s very tasty and the paella uses to wear prawns and other sea products. so the main taste has to be from the vegetables, rice, olive oil and sea products

  • My oh my!! Definitely that is NOT paella...

  • Chorizo? No, Chorizo no...

  • that is long grain rice!!! please ask a spanish how to prepare this recipe!!.. instead of chorizo you can add chicken, pork or shellfish, even fresh vegetables like artichokes and beans

  • its not a really spanish paella but it looks nice though

  • well in valencia they use onions i saw it on a cooking programme also i do agree that there is no chroizo in paella either put it does taste nice for its spices im not keen on this yellow rice i believe you must do it properly and make a rich stock !!

  • hello i am spanish and it that you have prepared is not a spanish paella is a yellow rice .the paella takes neither onion, nor sausage nor anything of what put habeía this is an insult for the spanish
