Interesting that the critic here (schumiisking) seems to have NO racing experience and doesn't seem to have posted any videos of his own prowess as a track driver. As far as I can see the guy in the clio was A. having a great time and B. aware of what was going on around him and willing (and able) to make room for other people on the track, I would be happy to share a track with him. By the way, unlike our 'know it all' I DO race: real cars on real tracks.
lol @ schumiisking, i suppose you've been on a race track more than once so now your an expert
Good effort lads, I wanna take my 172 FF on a circuit soon, it'll be my first time n i'll probs be shit but if ur gonna learn anywhere it shud be on a track :)

youre an absolute n00b driver, you should have spent some money on race instruction, rather than buying a stupid sounding exhaust which sounds like its got a hole in it. you're not using any trail braking, you're not heel+toeing to stabalize the rear under braking, you're not using all of the track and letting the car run wide after the apex, and you're not feeding the power in smoothly coming out of the turn. Pathetic. Learn to drive properly.
Firstly any1 calling someone a "n00b" is a nerd. Secondly track days are for people to have fun and enjoy their ROAD cars on the track at a NON-COMPETITIVE level. Thirdly its a FWD car so heel & toe would stabilise the front under braking, you should perhaps read a few vehicle dynamics books instead of playing video games. Finally with an attitude like that I wouldn't be surprised if you had absolutely no friends or any experience in racing at all. Get a life.
LOL you clearly don't know what heel and toeing is then, regardless of front or rear wheel drive, it will still stabilise the rear under braking, it's got nothing to do with with wheels are driven, why don't YOU read some books about it instead of calling people who use the word 'n00b' (which is what you are) 'nerds' - millions of people play video games, it's a new culture. Calling them 'nerds' is pointless, and doesn't make sense on any social level either.
you clearly know nothing about dynamics of a car and what happens to the weight transfer and load. If you're braking heavily all the weight and load is directed to the front, which makes the rear very light. If you're then having to cope with a delay going down the gears waiting for the transmission speed to match engine revs, this causes a further imbalance and unsettles the car. Why don't you try heel and toeing under braking, and see the difference. Oh wait you can't do it.
Hi nice vid! I have just bought a cup. And it has that same rattling sound as yours when you go above 5000rpm (mine only dose it in 1st). Do you know what that is?
@ Schumiisking
Do one you dick head.
At no point does it say in this video that he's an epic racing driver or a fountain of knowledge on car dynamics.
He was out having fun at a track. Offer some constructive comments or fuck off you sad little prick.
If you had any driving talent, you wouldn't be trawling YouTube for people to shoot down with your very basic knowledge of driving.

Great job, now consider on fixing those rattling noises and speed up a notch. But oh well, just having fun no biggy :)

Ktec Exhaust with decat
AWT machined inlets
Re-mapped to 184 BHP
Did have an ITG maxogen intake kit on it, but was changed back to standard. Can't really tell the difference between the two.

Mine was the exhaust hitting the underbody, when I removed it and put the standard back on it went away.
In your case it will be the lower rear engine mount.

Cheers! Thanks for the reply.

That was a 197 Cup Race car in black at the beginning.
What mods you running? Your car was no way standard.
Great Vid ;)
