  • You can open carry at 18 in South Dakota. Open carrying is a great theft deterrent.. No one is going to rob a store if a customer is packing a .45 on his hip

  • should be the law, you have to carry a gun!!!

  • Who is this Walter guy you keep mentioning?

  • @stevewiderski ...[from Wikipedia]-"Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen or Walther is a German arms manufacturer. For more than 100 years, Walther made major breakthroughs in the development of pistols. Some are legendary, like the PPK and the P99 – both pistols carried by the fictional character James Bond – and the P38, the standard-issue sidearm of the German military in World War II..."

  • @HELLZZARMY watch he's going to make some dumbass comment about how you mispronounced the name

  • @HELLZZARMY

Oh... you mean WaltHer LOl them I''ve heard of. Good video, thanks for posting.

  • That intro song sound like a Command & Conquer soundtrack...

  • intro song got me excited

  • Just got a beat up dirty one today. After 7 years in the Infantry this was the dirtiest weapon I've ever had to clean !!!! It's all banged and scratched up but still fires just fine.

  • I live in canada and im pretty sure i saw a 3.5" p22 for sale.

may have been restricted thats true but ive got my restricted PAL. Its just a short course and a background check, more people should have it here...

  • @85wifebeater ...I think I got it off Kazaa when I use to use that program a few years ago. After that it was Limewire and now days I just use iTunes. Those other free music sites had problems with viruses.

  • @HELLZZARMY The music is off a computer game called Command and Conquer, I think this particular one is off the Red Alert version. I was surprised to hear it when I opened the video LOL

  • @uncleben03 ...10-4...I know but, the other person wanted to know where I got it (downloaded) it from.

  • I just seen a blue one. My 10 year old wants it because it's blue. I would love it in a 9mm.

  • @funnyman1972 ...they make a 9mm version...the Walther 99.

  • i dont no if you hunt or not but would this be good to shoot varments from fairly close range

  • Red alert FTW :D

  • fedral ammo hollow points the way to go i shot a rabbit with them 2 times a hole big enough to stick three fingers in

  • Would you recommend this for zombie outbreak? Or would want a .45acp?

  • @GoodEvenings ...I prefer a .45 acp but, a .22 like this could severe the brain stem (and that's all it takes right).

  • I carry this gun with me and it is a cool lil pistol. 10 22 cci stingers will ruin your day.

  • My pellet air rifle his more lethal than this

  • @andrewvanrhoberts No it's not.

  • @andrewvanrhoberts No, it's not. The energy of any .22 LR is much more than any airgun.

  • @andrewvanrhoberts I shot some one who broke into my house with this. CCI stingers dropped him. .22s have way more impact power than a 1200 fps pellet. especially since stingers are about 1600 fps in a rifle and in this P22 about 1100 fps.

  • @andrewvanrhoberts I shot some one who broke into my house with this. CCI stingers dropped him. .22s have way more impact power than a 1200 fps pellet. especially since stingers are about 1600 fps in a rifle and in this P22 about 1100 fps. impact is about 170 LBS of force.

  • MADE IN GERMANY ..... juhuuuu xD

  • not bad kinda short I think I'll post one later on and maybe compare it to my ruger 22/45.

good stuff JT and I will.

  • CCI minimags to me are the best you can use in this pistol. Try those out.

  • p99 is a 6mm

  • Good review bud keep on keeping on

  • Good video

  • I just got one of these for my wife. Awesome ergonomics! It feels great in the hand. You've had trouble getting ammo? That sucks. Glad I don't live there. Ammo prices went up here but we can get whatever we need. Although for some reason Wal mart was out of .38 special for awhile. And for some reason the cost of .380 ammo is INSANE!

  • lol i love how you say you want a suppressor to shoot squirrel and stuff and well to me you sound like a 20s mobster it made me laugh

  • Greetings from the free state of Arizona where you can conceal without a permit, or wear it on your hip. We love our guns here, just like it should be. Been looking for a good defensive weapon for my little wife. Like the size and look of the P22. She doesn't like my Glocks 17 Pre-Ban of 22. Too much recoil. How will the P22 do for protection, and if so what's a good protection round?

    Thanks!

  • @MacPro8CoreMan ...I think any of the .22 LR ammo form like Winchester, Federal, or Remington would fit the bill. But, being a .22 it might take multiple shots to put an attacker down.

A friend of mine swears by CCIs stinger ammo.

  • @HELLZZARMY for the p22 I sear by CCI as well. Most of the others had jamming issues.

  • @MacPro8CoreMan cci minimags are a great round for this gun. cci in general is great ammo for the p22

  • @MacPro8CoreMan Once you get your P22 broken in proper I would use either CCI Stinger (segmented) or Federal Spitfire (only available at gander mountain). They are the fastest I've seen chronographed for the P22. As far as stopping power is concerned I say that putting a hole in someone is always pretty serious. The 25 auto is the most common bullet to be inserted into people and it's not any more powerful than a 22LR. This pistol has a 10round mag, is loud, but very gentle on recoil.

  • @MacPro8CoreMan perhaps a glock 26

  • @MacPro8CoreMan

    Have you goten a P-22 yet ?

    CCI STINGERS ALLTHE WAY !!!

They are the best round for this gun bar none !! They hit about as hard as a mild .38 special with more accuracy and twice the velocity.

I envy your states gun laws.

  • Gun sucks i have one and its always jamming and failing to extract round gonna sell mine.

  • The magazine is real easy to use on this gun on the right or left side.

  • howzit bra.. just bought one of these today fo protek my self

  • I'll bet the damascus steel version looks pretty cool

  • you can hide this thing anywhere with the 3inch barrel...

  • finnland during ww2 encouraged all it's citizens to get guns to fight the nazis and soviets, but now they're under the goddamn nazi E.U.

  • .22 cal is cheap but is dirty compared to 9mm, 45 acp, etc. because it has no jacket which results in more needed maintenence but is worth it in the long run because it is easier to find and its good if you don't mind cleaning your firearm frequently.(you should frequently keep your firearm clean and lubricated) :)

  • the barrell is threaded u just have to get the adapter that screws on is that sticks out from the slide the u screw the silencer on that

  • found one for 300 bucks. good deal? *got to love cabelas*

  • 22 CALIBER means that you are going to hit the target for sure, it has almost no recoil and it is very cheap , so have have the chance to have a lot of mags and lots of fun...I have a Glock 22c but I am considering to get one of these as a backup or just for fun...

I love the look of these weapons.

    Cool vid

  • I saw the new finish two tone, wasnt very appealing. Looked cool at first but was definitely a finish i would regret in the long run, would get tired of looking at it after about a week haha.

  • nice olive drab color and target model

  • nice olive drab color and target model

  • I'm left-handed and new to pistols in general. I shot a neighbors .45 today and the slide release was too stiff for me to press down with my index finger. I had to change hands and push it down with my thumb. Could you check for me on your walther there if the slide release button is easy to reach/release with the left index finger? + I have big hands so the reach part isn't that major

  • @ThaBR33D...the slide release wasn't hard at all...not like a 1911 .45acp or a Glock.

It shouldn't be a problem since it's not your conventional slide release...it's at the bottom of the trigger gaurd. I let you know for sure the next time I handle it.

  • @ThaBR33D...my bad I was thinking of the magazine release...

Again...will let you know about the SLIDE RELEASE the next time I handle that firearm.

  • @HELLZZARMY

    Thanks.

  • @HELLZZARMY

    Thanks.

  • @ThaBR33D hey man im also left handed and so it can be tricky to hit the slide release on some pistols without ambo slide releases. Just pull the slide back with your right hand and release and you'll be ready to go.

  • @ThaBR33D it takes a bit of getting used to but the p22 slide release isn't that bad to engage for a lefty [as i am also] but if you have a larger size hand the p22 probably isn't for you. its a fun plinker pistol but even in my semi small hands there just isn't much space to grip. it feels comfortable but without the extended grip magazine my pinky finger hangs off. all and all its a fun gun but probably better 22s out there for the money

  • @ThaBR33D This gun is ambidextrous.

  • 808

  • JT i was just wondering if you were form Hawaii, you sound like you are from hawaii.

  • yes...peopl who watch my videos know that.

    It's in my profile...

  • has this gun had any problems jamming on you?

  • Made this video back in August...last shot it about (2) months ago...no problems with jamming.

Why? Did you have problems with yours?

  • wich one this or sig mosquito?

  • Did you read the title, watch the video, or even look at the information in the side-bar???

  • I think he means which is better

  • "I think he means which is better..."

If that's the case, I couldn't say. I've handle a Sig Mosquito but, never fired one.

Both are from established and quality firearms makers...

I've always said when it comes to firearms and knives only the individual can decide which is better suited for themselves.

  • @HELLZZARMY I'm left handed... how hard is it to press the slide release button with your left index finger?

  • can't hunt with any kind of handgun in Canada. crappy crap crap. canuckistan. wanna move out!

  • I think these are coming equipped with a laser now. I want to buy one of these, but I may have to buy a 40 cal XD first.

  • This was one of the guns used in the Virginia Tech massacre. One guy, two pistols, 34 deaths. I don't understand how this wasn't stopped. They have police forces with full auto assult rifles, and here's one guy with two guns. Columbine was 2 guys, 5 guns and 15 deaths (I think.) How does this happen? In America? Unbelievable.

  • "Violence of Action"...Law Enforcement is re-actionary. Unless there already there tragedy is bound to happen.

In your references ppeople were getting killed...911 was called...already to late to prevent death...by the time LEOs got there all they could do was pick-up the pieces.

Sad...but, it's the world we live in...

  • He had time inbetween he killed 5 peopl and all the others, he went to the post office, and wiped his harddrive.

  • think if more people had guns the second someone pulled a gun well 6 more aimed at him

  • @tfoshohoe as I always like to say, "a well armed society is a polite society"

  • @Iamcartmanxd:

Because here in America we have a lot of stupid people that pass stupid laws, so that only criminals can have guns in certain areas, because they refuse to understand that criminals don't care about laws and don't follow them.

  • Hi JT. Well I must say they are fun and reliable to shoot at first - BUT mine did not last long. around 3,000 rounds the slide would not stay open on empty mag, and sent a whole bullet INSIDE the barrel. Plus one in chamber BOOM!!! 5 OR 6 Occurrences and the barrel had been buldged - SO After S&W replaced the barrel & now I have 3,800 rounds thru it. The slide is almost ready for the junk pile, it slid off and into the shooting lane last time. I don't think it is safe. Sincerely, JAMES.

  • @buzzclark ...WOAH! talking about horror stories.

YOU would think a good company like Walther, whose been around since war time, would make a gun that would last.

    thanks for the info...

  • You know JT I think the slide is made of some sort of really cheap material like a pot metal & formed by MIM (Metal Injected Molding) to save money. It was a great fun little gun. Unfortunately I purchased like 12 magazines. I like to have them all loaded when I hit the range & that way it cuts down on range time expense. I guess I will purchase the nickel slided P22. The nickel slided P22 is really good and after it is broken in really good it will shoot Remingtons. THX. Sincerely JAMES.

  • Like that vid.

  • Nice C & C intro

  • thanks...

  • tlbjbjb-If you hold the gun up and look, there is nearly .030" gap between the slide and the compensator on the end. You can push on the slide as hard as you want and it will not contact the compensator. Look at other sites about it, there are claims that it's due to the material make up of the slide. Too light of metal. But I've had two of these with many rounds put through them without a problem to date.

  • i have a question what does the compensator do and is it possible to take it off?

  • Short answer to help control felt recoil, controlabillity, and accuracy...

  • stay away from the 5in barrel everyone that has one says over time it will crack your slide! due to the slide slaming into

the compensator do your research befor making any dissions about it. as you should befor buying any firearm

  • Do you carry any body armor JT? Like a covert NIJ Level II vest or something?

  • Yeah I got an EDC vid showing my Second Chance vest Monarch II...

  • Nice. I have a similar Level II from VestGuard, barely noticable under my shirt.

  • These are probably less restricted in more strict states like Michigan, right? (Also Hell March FTW)

  • Don't know about Michigan but, Hawaii is a RESTRICTIVE State...doesn't matter what the caliber of the weapon.

for example the Ruger Charger pistol (check their site or search google) is illegal here. the ATF is in a tiff that some were sold here...

  • Just looked it up, most rifles are unrestricted in Michigan (except for the anti-material sort, of course), but handguns require special permits. Pretty much it. Thanks for the reply.

  • i have one of these, it is great fun. , they're fun to shoot 2 at a time =)

  • great vid .i too am a prowd owner of this little bute.

  • thanks...cool!

  • The song! What song it this in the beginning and end?

  • "Hell March"-from Command & Conquer video game...

  • I think it came from that game command conquer red alert (soviet side)

  • I have one of those.LOL How did I miss this video? Great review.5*s.

  • One thing about the blow back action DONT USE THE CHEAP ASS WALMART ammo(they carry 500 rd box of federal i think). It will most likely fail on you. I have had problems with it not actuating and striping off a new cartridge in my 10/22 i would assume the same is true here.

  • 10-4...Walmarts here in Hawaii do not sell guns or ammo.

I have to go the gun shops. thanks for your insights...

  • They do in the states(i live in cali)

  • We're a State...j/k...lol! I know what you mean...

  • Oh and awesome videos (subbed)

  • thanks...

  • Subbed, 10 mins ago, but what do you mean with watch your six? I don´t get it! Good vids! Loved your EDC!! Haha

  • Military-speak, Pilots, Spec-Ops, carried over to Law-Enforcement, Feds, etc...even organized Criminal Groups doing a job.

    Like a clock-face 12 o'clock is straight ahead, 3 o'clock your right, 9 o'clock your left...so your six (6 o'clock) is your back.

"Watch your Six"...watch your back (blind spot).

If you're searching a building and your team mate says to you, "Tango (bad-guy) on your nine (9 o'clock) you start blasting in that direction until you put the threat down...clear as mud?

  • Oh yeah! Thanks! Crystal clear now :)

  • NIce bro!!! i have the 5 in barrel model in OD green and it is sweet!! love this gun..great vid and keep em comin!!!!

  • JT love all of your vids, you have taught me to carry as much tools as i can for the right jobs i may come across. Keep the vids coming man, And maybe you can buy a Glock 36 and do a nice lil review on it. Thanks for all ur time and effort! We appreciate it!!!!!

  • Nice 22 bra getten one for the lady & my lil girl, since I own guns I can't hide it from her training your love ones helps out they tend to have more respect for firearms peace out bra!!!!

  • this gun is pretty nice.... from the design i prefer the sig mosquito

  • thanks Man...

  • thanks...

  • its like the pistol in Halo

  • only put about 40 rounds through it but, it shoots and feels great!

No gander mountain here...why would a guy working at a gunshop? talk you out of buying a gun.

    I don't know I'd recommend it...

  • Does Hawaii allow suppressors?

  • No...

  • every gun person needs a .22.

Great vid. Gonna check it out at the local shop

  • nice gun... how do you feel about driving on the left side of the road?

  • I don't know??? here in Hawaii (U.S.A.) we drive on the right...lol!

  • man i was thinking of samoa.. sorry bro lol but great videos JT

  • Last time i checked Hawaii was the 50th state and is still part of the USA and last i knew we all drive on the right lol

  • Hey JT, have you gotten a change to shoot the .380 Walther? looking at picking one up for OD / EDC carry....

  • 10-4...like nutnfancy said it's a great gun ...you just have to do your part.

Went to a friends gun shop. He has an indoor range put about 40 rounds through during a lunch break.

  • Oh...and you mean Ruger LCP...

  • dude thats so tite just pull it on someone and make them crap thier pants

  • very nice man!

  • y u wanna suppress a 22

  • Yes...it's nothing new. It's been done since before the Cold War.

Just look at the CIA, OSS, etc...just because it's a .22 doesn't mean it going to be quiet. Depends on the make and the ammo...

  • Ha! the German motif. Nice again, my friend. You gotta come up with something to beat The Golden Ticket vid!

  • 22's are very underrated.

If you are worried about not having enough power try using some CCI stingers, expensive but effective!

  • I like that pistol, I prefer that short version over that target model, but as you mentioned it falls under "pocketpistol" category in Finland. Are gun laws are pretty OK, but they restrict small pistols (even G19 is too small) and "dangerous?!?" hollow point bullets in handgund calibers bigger than .22LR.

  • command and conquer: red alert 3 intro? awesome choice bro!

  • The SP22-m3 looks sick i think im gonna gat it

  • do u hve any relvolvers

  • 10-4...you seen that cowboy gun (ruger) in my EAST meets WEST video...

got couple of snubbed nose .38s, NAA .22, etc...

  • Hey J i have the same Walther! only i had to get the 5 inch barrel! i havent shot it yet..hopefully soon. great vid! KEEP EM COMIN!

  • Looked at a P22 this past thurs. sweet little pistol, I will prob. pick one up soon to add to my arsenal

  • nice little gun if i were you i put this gun as a ancle hulster gun. by the way what was the song you were playing.

  • Command & Conquer's HELLMARCH...

  • i shot one at the range with a silencer and laser, fun little gun

  • I love .22's

  • thats a sexy p22 with the dual tone colors, awesome addition

  • Nice pistol but I would not recommend speed shooting with it, my father has one and he did that and he still cant find out how to make it shoot.

  • Nice...i picked up the Sig Mosquito. I wish i had bought the P22 instantly after I saw it in the gun store the next day.

  • one of the nicest 22's ever made.

  • That looks kick ass. Wouldn't think it was a .22.

  • Nice pistol J.T....Looks great in O.D.

  • That little guy, has some great quality in it.

I got the chance to shoot it only one time.

...I though "only good things" of it.

  • Yep... I just bought a new Ruger 10/22 and was able to score about 1,300 rounds of ammo for it. Nice .22 you got there. Shot that one a long time ago. They can be picky with some types of ammo. Got to find out what it likes to eat and buy a shit load of it! Cheers bro!

  • I have put many rounds through this gun with a suppressor (not mine) and it fouls and begins to jam after not too many rounds, without the suppressor it seems to work well.

  • I've had one for a few years..LOVE IT..but it is soon being sold to fund an AR purchase

  • Hey nice .22, I never knew you had that one. I really need to get of these they look like a real fun .22 5/5, nice for when you sneak up on your prey and put one to the base of the skull.... so I have heard....

  • hey Paul...yeah still have a few guns I haven't shown. but, I need to get more new ones like you...still drooling over that Desert Eagle you showed a while back...

  • JT....sweet pistol. When u get your suppressor do another vid!

  • thanks...

  • nice video ! the P22 works at higher preassures as far as reliability.high or hyper velocitiy ammo seems to be the best diet .

  • I seen one in a blue like Yankee color blue crazy

  • I love thise little German Pistol great 22lr ! Thanks for makin a vid on it brotha!

  • you're welcome...

  • yeah, in australia we're not aloud and concelable or semi-auto or full-auto weapons, ah well, thats what ur vids are for

  • Thanks a lot. My vids are lame next to yours, but I'm trying. This is the Sony webbie you did a vid on so I bought it. Then you dumped it LOL. Watch your six. Thanks.

  • no I didn't dump it...decided to hang on to it...still use it for stills...just not as easy as my Flip Mino (I've been using that for the longest time).

Glad you got the hang of it...your vids with that webbie look good!

  • Thanks. The camera works great it's the camera man. It's hard to see in the sunlight what your shooting. Your recommendation was right on. Good pictures great price.

  • I had one of those before I was even legally allowed to own firearms. I had to make due.

  • I have one with 3 bbls.Great gun ammo is still cheap. 5*s again thanks. Have you gone to my channel yet? Great music.

  • thanks...(3) barrels that's cool. Just did...gave (2) of your vids 5*s...good stuff...

  • Got a Walther myself JT and love the shit outa' it!

  • j.t. whats the music?rammstien?

  • Command & Conquer...HELLMARCH...lol!
