This song came out during a time when Bono's dad and my Uncle were both sick and even though I wasn't really close to my uncle I looked up to him because he was a police man and a Vietnam Veteran. I did enjoy when I got to see him and the song Kite reminds me that I had to let him go because he had a terrible case of Cancer in the brain that was inoperable and there was nothing we could do to stop it. I really loved my uncle.
