This is another time when you make a comparison I don't see at all. "Avanti la vie" was certainly a unique song (great guitar riff), slow but determined. I don't find these two to sound similar at all; this is more anthemic (and nowhere near as good, imo).

I don't mean they are similar in melody, just in style - since they're both anthemic songs with a life-affirming message. You're right though, "Avanti la vie" was also a WAY better song (and, also, in the strong year that was '95 this one really had no chance).
