I've toured the Anne Frank house possibly about 5x's since it's around the corner from a favorite hotel. I usually go towards the quiet of the early evening when there is no line and not full with tourists. It's blissful to see it without the hordes of people and the emotion it brings can be expressed more profoundly. I have looked at the trees and also thought of her looking at the trees. The trees are a good witness to those times. I think.
