@1:31 Satan himself wouldn't go in that pit...Seriously, this album is equivalent of smashing your face against concrete for 40 minutes or having multi head-on collisions within 40 minutes..you get the idea.
@MrMethadrine Your out of your mind, brutal music needs brutal vocals. Imagine somebody like James Hetfield singing this lol. It wouldn't fit the music at all.
@MrMethadrine Old Max Cavalera vocals I hope? Because his vocals on Roots where imho terrible.
Don't know about Ding Fetus, I'm not a guttural vocals fan, maybe some people dig it, I prefer those tortured kind of vocals like the vocals from Martin van Drunen or Thomas Lindberg.
These guys made the best riffs in thrash in my opinion.
Seriously, it's like somebody got the catchiness of Obituary (probably Redneck Stomp from this vid) gave it to Slayer to speed it up to mach 10 but then Pantera wanted a piece of the action and made it heavy as fuck.
These guys were and still are ahead of their time. Along with Death this is one band that I wish would just reform but know deep down they can't.
First time hearing Demolition Hammer, this stuff is fucking amazing. This must be a hidden treasure or something, I've honestly never heard them mentioned before at all :O
@TheME666TAL Because the best thrash and death metal bands were not as well known and kept true to the roots and generally broke up as the genres began to move away from their roots.
spoke with derek on myspace... asked him if they were thinking about doing smth again and he said they had a few offers to play in some festivals but it's not likely they will ever do smth again... i couldn't sleep for a month after that! i almost fuckin' cried...
anyone could please tell me if steve reynolds, was or is christian? please tell me no!, i several times see him with a cross, but fuck, i have been questioning this for almost 7 years!! please awenser
Probably my favourite thrash band, it's brutal as hell but never turning into death metal. Huge fan of the vocals as well, they're powerful and aggressive in a way that a lot of thrash vocals aren't.
Im really starting to get into Demolition Hammer! Im trying to look for ''Epidemic Of Violence'' and ''Tortured Existence'' but cant find it at my record store so ill just order the originals!
saw with them deicide and cancer back in 94. the singer actually sold me cd he was promoting this album.. totallya fuckin rule, DEMOLITION HAMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
