This is indeed a great effect but you will have to be able to undertake a false shuffle and false cut at the oft to make it appear convincing. An added touch would be to pre mark the 'potential' top cards of the face down dealt packets with a pencil mark in the corner.Then you will be able to undertake a convincingly sloppy false haymow shuffle with each pile and finish with each pile in the required order. This will make the reveal seem all the more impossible :)

Too much shuffling is not neccessary. It will hurt the pacing and timing of the trick. Once the audience accepts the cards are shuffled there is no need to keep doing it.

What I really like about this trick is that it has such a strong ending, yet involves no sleights whatsoever (except for a few at the beginning to make it appear that the deck has been shuffled, which is really optional).
