If IGs are like Greyhounds, they do tend to have much longer nails generally anyway, because of the shape of the foot; and the claw is important for their purchase power on the ground.

I swear that was my own iggy!! Mine does the same! She seems to like dried mango slices and fruit in general... Sadly we don't have Taco Bells in England but if we did Lola would be stealing out of my hands. Who cam say no to the big eyes and the ears pulled back? It tugs on my heart strings :-)

@WMcClanah Depends on the weather, we have greyhounds and in winter out vet advises us to leave them longer to help them grip if weather is slippery or icy etc x

Lyon406 is right, the IG is a toy breed. Already small, no need to add the miniature prefix. :] My iggy wouldn't think about grabbing things off the table, she follows the same rules as our big dogs.. with the exception that she sleeps right in between my parents at night haha.

"minature" is not used with IG's, only three sizes, Greyhound, Whippet and Italian.

My IG would have jumped up on the table, grabbed the taco and ran.

My IG loves tacos (no cheese problems either). She just had a soft taco today. Ate the meat, veggies and dairy. I don't let them have the shell though, just the insides.

What a beautiful baby. I have two: Cricket and Olivia. Cricket was named that way because he jumps like a cricket...little did I know when naming him that they all jump like crickets! One of the most endearing traits of the IG's, I think, is there affectionate nuzzling. Both of mine want to press their neck and face against mine and receive their daily/hourly kisses. I feed my IG's the highest quality dry food and they get snacks like carrots, which they love and are good for them. Beautiful IG!

Cheese is bad for small dogs. Even small amounts can cause constipation. Sometimes it can be painful or cause death... perhaps if they got a hold of a block of cheese. I'm aware every dog is different, but please be careful. Trust me, I'm not preaching... I've made my fair share of mistakes leaving food out/within reach.
