I saw Blackfire perform while i was living in Tucson, they were good, but the location was hard to find it was on one of the nearby rez which i don't know the name of, it was like under a log shade thingy with a spotlight stand infront of the stage as the only light source, very underground scene, few ppl, but they rocked!!
I think whoever posted this song mis-labled it. I know that Blackfire is very aware of the AIM song as well as many other songs They do sing the AIM song on their new album and it's not this one.

Something on Youtube makes me very sad. It's a video titled:
"Pine Ridge Indian Reservation (updated version )" by imateenagedramaqueen. It's a fundie Christian group that is welcomed onto Pine Ridge, then the person completely exploits the people in a cruel way, talking smack about them unfairly. It all seemed so self righteous instead of good hearted. I could be wrong
For the last 37 years I've never heard this song as the AIM song. I still sing it with my brother and sister's on Alcatraz. If these people are still around, maybe they need to come and learn the song. Pomo Nation of Northern California. Doug Duncan Oh! Oh! Oh!
I Suppose There were Several Variations as Time Went On---It is Not the One I Heard at Pow Wow with John Trudell(A.I.M. Top 10)--in 80s---Many Blessings To All Our Tribes---/-
This isn't the AIM song that my uncles and aunties used to sing in the 70s! This is a bunch of WANNABES singing and screaming. YOU guys need to knock it off and quit trying to be like the natives when YOU don't know what you're doing! Come on man get it together! Get real! What a joke.....
Chill out - these guys are not wannabes - the person who posted it mis-labeled the song. If you want to hear them sing the AIM song though check it out on their latest album.

It does not matter that it is not the original AIM song. The point is they are fighting for the same reasons.

no, this isn't the A.I.M. song, not the one I had taped back in the 70's when Ted Means would start the song (with the Porcupine Singers.)
