  • Beautiful memories of my dearest friends no longer here on earth, but with us each and every day...."let him know that I will see him someday, but for now I know that he is watching over me."

God's Peace Bill P.; Lawrence B. and all my brothers

  • Always try to remember those who were lost and the hurt that those who loved them will always carry.

  • beautiful song! How may I get the lyrics

  • @gabbydjc. thanks! The lyrics are now in the description of the video.

  • thanks for sharing the lyrics ...song means a lot to me

  • Let me add my voice to the other expressions of thanks for producing and posting this moving audio/visual tribute. I posted it to my Facebook profile and immediately got well deserved, positive feedback. Thanks again!

  • hello Sean, just wanted to thank you for an amazing song, video and memories. When i first watched this song attached to depfox's video i coudlnt finish it, today i could. thanks for all that you do for our community.

  • Thanks for such a touching post. This is the "Video of the Day" on theBestArts on facebook.

  • THANK YOU for that AMAZING Song!

  • You are truely amazing. Thanks for making such a moving and beautiful video.

  • Wow is that you singing Sean? The vocals are great! Nice video.

  • u3q2v, yep it's me! Mind you, I ran my vocals through a bit of auto-tune and a lot of reverb, so it wasn't exactly perfect lol. Thanks though!

  • Too modest to own it completely <3. Some day I hope to produce my own music too. How'd you learn to do all this stuff?

I think it's great work that you're doing. You seem to be a serious activist, and I appreciate all the hard work your putting into helping the community. What age did you start doing all this?

  • mallorymakaila821, how is this video funny or scandalous? HIV is a serious disease affecting millions of people, and no one deserves to be infected.

  • Beautiful and very touching. Thank you so much for making this.

Personally, I don't know anyone who with HIV/AIDS, but my heart goes out to everyone affected by the disease. Some of my straight friends have a very flippant attitude and make jokes about people HIV/AIDS, so I have to remind them that it's still a very serious issue.

  • How come we never ever hear anything else about Magic Johnson and his HIV AIDS status?

  • ccm800, I did a search for "magic johnson hiv", and I noticed a number of videos of interviews and speeches he's done over the last few years.

  • Far too many people hyave lost their lives to this alful disease. Thank You Sean for the video and reminding us about World Aids day coming up.

  • This really touched me, Sean.

I've lost three friends to AIDS.

    Kirk Hamilton 1960 to 1990

    Terry Ehl 1938 to 1999

    Lance Rogers 1969 to 2001

    RIP guys, I miss you.

  • Thank you sean it would be an honer to post this video on our site. Ill post it on Dec 1st Wolrds Aids Day.

Very moving video thank you Sean

  • Glad you like it - it took a good day plus to make it, but it was worth every minute spent. Hope you've had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend so far.

  • This makes me cry for all of those who have passed and for all of those who have to deal with the stigma of HIV. I think all of us have someone and know of someone that has the disease or who has passed because of complications because of this disease. The suicide rate for people with HIV is very high. I know of to many that have been treated like a leper and an outcast because of this disease.

  • I see people rally around people with cancer and other diseases but I still see people withdraw from people with HIV and these people need it the most

  • I remember my friend Paul who died at the age of 45, one month before he was to marry his partner and it was going to be the 1st time I was going to be a wedding. The tux and limos were rented everthing was set and then he got sick and everyone turned to me for answers and once they told me how advance his illness was I knew what to expect. Sometimes knowledge can be a double edge sword.

  • Sorry to unload like this but this brings up some many feelings of lose for friends and others that are gone to soon. I am sorry if I carried on with my writing.

  • KENNY04151963, thanks for sharing your thoughts, I really do appreciate it. It is disheartening that so many of us stigmatize HIV when those who have it need us the most. I hope that we can all overcome this stigma and come together for the sake of humanity. Please feel free to share more thoughts if you like, it matters to me and everyone else here who comes to this video.

  • @KENNY04151963 Remembering the lives of those we love is never a need for an apology. I cannot count the times I have watched this video and cried over friends no longer 'here'...but I do know and feel they are with me every day...and always will be until meet over there. What a fantastic day that wil be! The final scene from 'Longtime Companion' lifts me up and gives me hope and often keeps me going on through this crap we call life.

  • @KENNY04151963 Oh man so sorry to hear that.

  • Beautiful, Sean! I've often wondered (and we are prob. about the same age) if the world might have been a better place had so many of our Gay brothers not succumb to this Fate... *sigh*

  • MacMorrighan, I believe that we would be equal Americans if AIDS didn't exist, and such is a tremendously deplorable tragedy for our LGBT community, one which we have and will continue to survive.

  • I absolutely believe that you may be onto something, there, because it was used as a means to discriminate against us for such a long time; often we are regarded as "promiscuous," as though there's something supposedly "immoral" about that! *groan* And, it would also mean that there would be so many more of us living today!
