  • I remember when, going to Cream every week, they had Oakenfold and Warren as residents. Place was rammed every week without fail, then, what did they do? They got rid of Warren because they thought he weren't ''uplifting'' enough and his music didn't go apparently.

When you move the jog wheel like that it is essentially just like turning a record on a turntable only its moving the cd or mp3, but digital tables nowadays literally mimic vinyl on turntable so that DJ's now have the same tactile feel that vinyl always gave them before. Once they reached that capability is when you really saw the industry switch to CD's.
