Hey kiss(: did you apply the heating cap with the PC? im nine with shoulder length natural curly hair, and i use that once a month. It works great. When im finish woth my beautiful curls shampoo, i could use the JBCO shampoo. But i shampooed my hair, rinsed out the shampoo, the applied the protein conditioner (PC) and put a cap for twenty minutes. Rinsed it out; my hair was soft and fluffy(:

@divasamm29 .. Not sure.. You can mix any oil into your deep conditioner. Just just add a tablespoon and mix it in... You can also do the same with Honey

I purchased the Tropic Isle Jamaican black castor oil online. I like the consistency but the smell is unbearable. Can you suggest something that I can add to it to improve the smell without effecting the quality of it?

@swnanc .. I mix mine with Jojoba Oil to thin it out ..Then add a couple of drops of Lavender Oil for scent .. I get my Lavender Oil from GNC

I agree, that conditioner (the smell) is NOT what's up! I can't even stomach the look of it so that's $13.99 down the drain but I don't care because I can't imagine sitting with it on my hair for even 5 minutes. I also agree with you on the growth oil, I LOVE IT! I mix 1 oz. of it with 2 oz. of my JBCO in a bottle with the straight tube using it twice a week as a moisturizer.

I think, those products are mint for natural hair, not so much relaxed hair.

@sjodaye ...Really .. Hmmmm It works for myself and for the other relaxed women that use it...hahahhhahaha and relaxed hair or chemically treated hair needs more protein and tender loving care to thrive..... Thats why everyone is not sucessful with chemically treated hair...

@blueandblessed .... I get breakage, hard , dry , breakage shedding ... These are usually signs ... I stay with lighter protein treatments

@KISSseventyseven Hi, are you ever concerned about trying products that are sent to you? Im asking because I very rarely veer from what is working for my hair. I'm actually afraid that trying something new might damage it. Do you ever do strand test before putting those products in your hair? I see gurus trying things out all over YT and I just think it's either very brave of them or very risky. Especially when they are trying hair products or makeup products. What do you think. @WhereYaBoss ..To be honest I don't venture out enough from my regimen to cause damage... I stick with what works for me and do new products only so often... Thats why u don't see hair product reviews going up on my channel every other day or every week... I also do research on products I never heard of before testing them out... To be honest I have even turned products away b/c of the ingredient list etc.. So yes I do product reviews spread out so I don't cause damage.

@KISSseventyseven Aww, Ok : ) I asked because you mentioned in the video that one of the products smelled bad and you still put it on your hair and it made it "super hard as a rock" and I gasped when I heard that. There are so many jealous people when it comes to long hair. And you never know the real reason why people are sending products to you. Most reviewers don't do a strand test before using "unsolicited" products. They test on their whole head and then are surprised by the results.

@KISSseventyseven I thought you were very brave when you said it smelled like mayonaisse with spices..girl, that would have been the review for me. It would have never gotten into my hair. Don't be afraid to end the review where ever you want. If they made a product that almost made you puke, girl say that and then, "Therefore I didn't want to put it in my hair". Don't feel like you have to finish the review for us. We understand. We understand : )

I bought the strong roots thing but I have never felt it tingle or anything at all on my scalp. I use it the way you do but have never felt the tingles. I had to add peppermint oil to it just so I could feel anything. I'm going to use it tonight, I'll try and pay more attention.

@asant30 i use the red pimento hair growth oil....that stuff is the ish i used to have really bad dandruff i use that stuff once on my scalp and i havent had dandruff since ITS MY FAV

@sayma8 .. I have had awesome results with Aphogee 2min reconstructor( not the 2step) ... You can also order and mix silk amino acids(protein) into your favorite moisturizing conditioner

@evyb ....Most people deep condition on dry or damp hair because... The hair is like a sponge ... Once it fills up with water doesn't have much room or can not absorb anything else... When the hair is dry or damp the conditioner absorbs and penetrates the hair better...

The other reason why I do it this way is I don't like jumping in and out of the shower so this makes everything go by faster....

If makes you feel better to wash your hair first thats fine... Do what works for you

Hello - Do you think you can use the strong roots oil prior to steam treatment? I generally steam with my deep conditioning prior to shampooing and styling. I hate getting in and out of the shower so I tend to deep treat prior to entering the shower.

Good point on the "strong roots" products, when i first purchased it I did not follow the directions either, and that will get you into trouble when dealing with hair products! Thank you for sharing this review ... AND your eye makeup is ON POINT.
