So how long is this mayhem. Looks like from the shadows when ppl are cleaning themselves...like 4 or 5 pm. Is this the entire day from early in the morning?
Noooo i recognise that street!!!i walk on it many many time because after the corner of the dust bins, on the left, lives a friend of Bunòl..at the end of the street there is a square..i started Toma(2207)from that square..was full of people!!near there, everybody was looking to the "ham pole"!!!i made the Toma at that point!CRAZYYYYYY!!!!!But was an incredible experience!!happiness & people from every parts of the world!!FANTASTIC!!!..PURE FUN!!...
...but also very tiring, expecially if you don't sleep & dance all the night before in the party of Bunòl, like us!!!We stopped to dance at 8.00, we went to some of our Bunòl friends home to change ours clothes & at 10.00 we was "ready" for fighting!!!!5 trucks, 1 our of fighting, tomatoes & cold water from the balconies & hydrants..all that under a beautiful sun..it was a movie!!
CERTAINLY IT'S AN EXPERIENCE THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET IN MY LIFE!!!
Damn it!!! I cant believe I missed it!!! I was trying to find a vacancy, in either a hotel or hostel, since June but it was damn near impossible!!! Damn it! Well, atleast I get to live this experience through your clip. lol. Cant wait till 09! I hope I can make it! Does anyone have any tips on where to stay (on a budget of course) or how to get about?
1) Find a girl. Make sure she's Spanish and lives around Buñol.
2) Date her for a few years.
3) Propose marriage
4) Move in with her.
Now, I admit this takes time, but is worth it as you're perfectly placed for the fiesta :-)
Otherwise, find accommodation in/around Valencia not Buñol (more choice/chance) and take a bus (many) to La Tomatina. There are Tomatina Tour companies. Good luck and see you next year!
i took an apartement in Valencia (very very beautiful but very cheap!) that is far from Bunòl about 30 min..but if you listen to me you look many time before an accomodation in Bunòl..when you finished the Tomatina you are very tired, you must to walk so much (under a burning sun) & at the Bunòl station there is a delirium of people!!..next time we'll do so..
dont know what la tomatina u were at,i was there this year near the ham on the post, this video here and others u have posted do not show what it is reely like at latomatina.ur videos make it look like the most boring tomato fite eva,if ur not going 2 take part in the tomato fight why come at all.
also dont feel guilty for living 1 hour away from the tomato fight.i feel guilty that i liv in such a beautiful part of the world and about the way we live,id neva trade that to live anywhere in europe
Feel guilty because so many others put so much effort into attending. I rolled out of bed a couple of hours early and drove for an hour. I am originally from UK and you wouldn't get something like that there either ;-) Besides; the tomatoes would freeze upon launch, ha-ha!
Cool! My SO and I live just up the road so, apart from getting out of bed early, it was just a cool way to waste a morning! Seeing others from UK, NZ etc made me feel guilty. Upping these vids are my way of repaying their efforts to get there. Glad you enjoyed and hope foot gets better!! Zenny

I see your point, however
1) By the time we'd got through the traffic we arrived about 10 - 10:30am and could not get that close
2) I am just a person! I DID get in there, but did not film at the time else my camera would now be deadder than dead.
3) As I said in the comment section, this was not supposed to film La Tomatina per se, it was my personal experience :-)
Hope this helps!
