First of all, the 2nd WW was a direct cause of the end of the second which you should know if you have proper knowledge of history. And second, there are US troops and bases here so they can launch missions from here (for example to the Balcan, the Middle East). They also bring soldiers back from as far as Iraq to military hospitals here. Before the wall fell and the Soviet Union fell apart they were here to protect Western Europe from the Warsaw Pact.

Germans need to be forgiven because it was a long time ago and things have changed. Germany has had many great accomplishments over the years, what ever it may be. But there still is no reason to say what they did was right, the Nazi Party was radical and communist, and the only way to run a sucessful country is for it to be FREE, I love the part in the movie where President Reagan said "Tear down this wall", probably one of the most defining statements in the 20th century.

This is a great video. A moment in time. Thank you. I was stationed in Berlin from 1990 - 1994 and it was the most historical thing I could ever be proud to be a part of. I am an American Soldier, but I love Germany. I just returned from my 2nd tour in Weisbaden/Mainz. It was incredible and refreshed my love for the Country. I just wish that the Fall of the Wall and Reunification was a solid foundation for the rest of the world to follow. Thank you

We, the Russians, did about a fourth of the work in the war. Every one in the Allies did a quarter of the war effort. Besides No one country did more than another. The Americans helped, the Africa campaing, the British were everywhere, the French had their own problems, and the Polish.... well they got conquered, faster than the French, but never theless they put up a fight. Besides, Why the hell should it matter who did the work in the war? the point is Allies won!

The only way to completely stop this is to have a minimum 100,000 dollar fine for "each" illegal found working for an employer and set that person back a year on the waiting list of persons whom can get a guest work visa. Take away the incentive and then the only ones left are the criminals who sneak here for a completely different type of employment

First of all, the 2nd WW was a direct cause of the end of the second which you should know if you have proper knowledge of history. And second, there are US troops and bases here so they can launch missions from here (for example to the Balcan, the Middle East). They also bring soldiers back from as far as Iraq to military hospitals here. Before the wall fell and the Soviet Union fell apart they were here to protect Western Europe from the Warsaw Pact.

If Germany can be thanked for freeing Europe, it would only be because Hitler's aggressions opened the eyes of Roosevelt and Churchill into seeing that what he was doing was evil.

...and also Americans were in West Germany for 45 years after WW2 protecting the W.Germans from the Red Army. USA also secured West Berlin from the East, Ronald Reagan forced the USSR to remove troops from the Soviet Sphere including W. GErmany, when Soviet troops left in 1989 all Soviet Sphere countries broke free from communism because USSR was no longer there

our (USA) nuclear program succeeded because of Von Braun who was a German scientist, he also helped establish space rockets and satellites.
