The more i see this goal, the more i admire it. When Giggs was twisting the Arsenal defenders with his swerves and balance, Adams stayed inside to block route to goal, and so when Giggs surged between Keown and Dixon, he still needed a brilliant shot v a top goalie. This is better than Maradona's goal v England. It came right at the end of a tremendous match, with Utd down to 10 men, and set up the treble. Giggs is a better role model than Maradona, selfless, dedicated, still going strong at 37

I was rooting for Belgium in the 1994 World Cup qualifier, live at Cardiff, March '93. Belgium had won all 7 of their qualifiers up to that point. Free kick. We're sitting right across from it.
