  • I'm not good in math "/

  • This women is so far from being accurate, don't be discouraged.

  • @Billabong024 still taking it!

  • @MrPancho101

Are you serious? Usually you only need calculus to be a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist. And sometimes you only need 1 semester, not a full year.

  • this girl is so wrong and disscouraging wow if i wouldve watched her video before i called the college i want to go to i would not have done this people please do not listen to her if you want the real information please go to my channel or email me the prerequisites are completely wrong omg

  • Ah I wanna be a nurse so bad but I'm a learning support student!

  • NURSING

  • her hands are annoying me.

  • you dont need pre-calculus and calculus to become a nurse lol

  • She looks like a b*tch

  • @whatsupmusic ur comment made me burst out laughing! she does!

  • Become a RN. You should check out - theregisterednurse . net - for registered nurse or practitioner careers

  • Im going to a community college then on to a nursing school

  • Makes me not want to become a nurse no more :(

  • Wow, studying to become an RN in the US sounds complicated!

  • Yikes Salina... looks like you should find a new career field. If you're that unhappy... move on...

  • screw this im joining the AirForce - this sucks!

  • Don't do it there are no jobs! Think about there are more nursing schools than hospitals look it up with your state board of nursing at how many nursing schools there are. Most of them you have probably never heard of.

  • Nope! She lost me after 30 seconds.. Forget all that I'll just be a real estate agent

  • i dont even want to be a nurse but this hoe wack

  • Ok What high school offers those classes? In college there are 4 classes needed to get into the program. Stop making things up. It's Anatomy Phys 1 and 2, Psych 101 and Eng 101. Tell the truth. Don't make nursing so prestige. It is what is is. You don't take Calculus or Organic Chemistry. It's a 101 chem, and other 101 classes.

  • I don't understand why everyone is pushing for BSN and MS in nursing. If all the nurses go back to school... who will be taking care of the patients on the floors? If I went to school for my MS I want to get payed more and have a supervisory position. I wouldn't be working on the floor for the same salary as an Associate RN. And an RN is an RN whether AS or BS. People need to realize that. You take ONE Board, the NCLEX. I can't stand listening to professor's saying go back to school.

  • How condescending !

  • OMG she's annoying me with her hand gestures!!!

  • My goodness...where has happened to "caring"??

  • Now reading all these bad comments it really strikes me. But I beleive that its not going to be easy but who said it would. Im gonna do my best and try my hardest no matter what. I beleive if you take the right steps and follow your tracks and do what it takes it will pay off in the end. When people say they stopped doing it they probably didnt like it in the first place. and if you did stop doing it and you did like it why? because your lazy and you gave up and its a shame.

  • @BrutaRealist thanks for bringing my hopes and dream down:(

  • Most nurses come out of diploma mills that take C avg. students who sit on a wait list. I have a BSN to 50 CON went on scholarship and my universities own hospital system will not hire me. I graduated in 2009.

  • @BrutalRealist I hear you but every job has some bull to deal with. I wasted 21 years working at a major brokerage in the IT department. You find bad apples everywhere. But at least in nursing you get to make a difference in someone's life.

  • The nurse in the video sounds like she was a top student her entire academic career. I bet she was a 'A' student all the way. And I mean this as a compliment.

I have thought about becoming a nurse but the highest grade I got in the sciences and math was about a B- average. The only time I got an 'A' was in remedial math in college. I have 15 credits in psychology, 15 in health education, credits in education courses.

  • @adelgado75 What's wrong with that? YOU CAN BE "A" STUDENT TOO. School is easy if you just apply yourself.

  • I LOVE BEING A NURSE but.........nursing is NOT FOR EVERYONE!

  • why is she holding a pen for so long?

  • @DeusUniversa10

    very agreed : )

  • @TonyMillionaire I guarentee shes Italian. Its a common trait. Dont you love it lol.

  • don't go to a community college. get a bsn at the very minimum.

  • @fornow100000 Very ignorant comment my friend. A person is bullied because they allow someone to bully them. There are some mean nurses as well as mean PEOPLE in general but if you man up and STAND up for yourself they will usually leave you alone.

  • Sad to say,a big majority of people take nursing for the money.I've been hospitalized many times and I've noticed that 20% of the nurses on call actually do their jobs and care about the patients that are in their care....nurse managers need to get off their butts and do visual audits on a regular basis so that the general population can get the proper care they pay for with taxes..There are very good nurses out there and the bad apples are giving them a bad rap.

  • @BrutalRealist really? You don't like it? I'm in high school trying to figure out what career I want. I'm interested in: kindergarten teacher, pediatrician, nurse practitioner, and labor and delivery nurse. I'm not sure which. So you don't think being a nurse is worth it? Do you have any advice for me? My top favorites are kindergarten teacher and pediatrician, I just don't know if I want to go to the 11 years of school for pediatrician. Do you have any advice? Thanks so much! :)

  • you don't need a second language! thats ridiculous!

  • Being a nurse is hard work. IT'S NOT A JOB FOR EVERYONE. But that's life! Now, there are GOOD nurses that go into the field to help and aid those in need and BAD nurses who are in it for the "money". I'm currently in a registered nursing program and I love it. It's such a rewarding field.

  • im studying for RN and i too have heard that the RN program is hard but i believe in myself and i think it will pay off at the end.

  • @DeusUniversa10 I agree. I'm a nurse and have been for years and everything theyre talking about is bullcrap. Suck it up.

  • @babyashhxoo Im planning on starting nursing school soon but i have heard horror stories about how hard the classes are!! I have a 15 month old so im worried i wont be able to do it are they really that hard?

  • @nicoleandjosh08 The advice I can give you is that nursing is a profession in which you need to have a passion for. Nursing is the most rewarding thing to me. It is hard work but harkwork pays off. These bitter women on here are feeding innocent young nurses complete idorcracy. It's pathetic. I promise you if you work hard you'll enjoy what you do and it wont even seem like an actual "job". Hard work and persistence is the key to life.

  • ok why is it so bad? i mean i was just thinking to take an RN program for 2 years in a community college and off my way. will sumone plz tell me why this is so bad?

  • do u think nursing is much more differnt when being a Male nurse, becuse all the bad reviews i see r from female nurses i would like to hear from a Male nurse.

  • Not all can be a good Nurse. Being a Nurse, it's not just about the money you earned later but rather your heartly dedication to the profession and the infinite compassion to those under your care.

  • @zcratz AMEN!

  • Nursing is rewarding. I wouldn't find myself doing anything else.

  • Thank you so much, this has been very helpful and i really appreciate the video!:)

  • Im 18 and on my second semester in college, i want to become an RN then a CRNA but after hearing all these comments about how bad the Nursing field really is idk what to do now.im thinking of changing my major now. because i trust peppole that have been in this field and have lived it, iv learned take advice from others who have been there and done that then someone who dosnt know what there talking about. I just dont want to regret being a Nurse. Can someone please tell me the truth YES or NO ?

  • @Cisco2201 honestly, I think nursing is a waste. Better to leave now than to suffer. it's full of nonsense from biased instructors who'll make up trick questions with trick tests. One intructor lied when she said she'd pass us if we were one point away from passis. she didn't

  • @Cisco2201 I advise agaisnt it strongly. it's a waste. The instructors are the worst of all.

  • @Cisco2201 nursing is something you have to have a passion for. many people making negative comments are people who don't have a passion for it. yes it's hard, and it can be really stressful at times (just like any other job), but if you have a true desire to help people and are compassionate towards people, then it is very rewarding. when you're old you can look back on your life and be proud that your career involved more than just making money for yourself, you saved lives.

  • @Cisco2201

My mom has been a nurse for over thirty years, and works in surgery. My mom LOVES being a nurse, she did say her instructors were awful, but since then her university has been shut down. My sister just graduated with her BSN last year, and has found a high paying job that she too loves, working in pain management. If you want to do it, go for it! I am in my second semester of college as well, and it it what I am going for.

  • @Cisco2201 please dont do it. Change your major now. This is coming from the truth. I get nothing from posting on youtube about this. I'm not bias. I'm speaking from honest opinion and because I care about helping a stranger. Find something else

  • Hi guys, im a senior in high school and wanted to become a RN but after seeing all these comments im not to sure anymore lol. Can you guys respond to me and tell me what fields are in demand and more enjoyable? thank you :)

  • @ShesMorgan Unfortunately, a lot of things in health care are going down the hill big time..and with further political moves, you can bet that health care jobs won't be the hottest anymore. Even Doctors are bound to be screwed over sometime soon...trust me..that time is coming and I feel bad. They don't deserve it..they work really hard to be where they are at. Take a Career Aptitude test.

  • @bbjenRN i agree. thank god i left nursing. it's a complete scam. for the record, there is NO NURSING SHORTAGE!!!!

  • Thumbs up for the nurses who have had doubts about going into this field! Thumbs up for the nurses who know that nursing is NOTHING like how they portray it! Thumbs up for the nurses that are sick of the harassment, bullying, stress, abuse, workload, cattiness, and backstabbing. Thumbs up for the nurses who wish they would have chosen a different major and realize that they pay and opportunity simply does NOT exist in this field! Thumbs up from all of us ACTUAL nurses!!

  • @BrutalRealist I agree BrutalRealist! I'm also a RN and I'm so disappointed with myself for choosing this field. Like you, I enjoy working with patients and did well in all of my nursing classes, but nursing is one big, fat, lie and it's not until you graduate years later that you figure it all out. Most of my classmates suffered with depression. It's hard to realize you worked so hard to find out that nurses are not in demand and are usually treated incredibly poorly.

  • @lovelyaley You're NOT even a nurse. Do NOT call yourself a nurse. Being in a BSN program for 2.5 years does NOT make you a nurse. I don't regret my life. I *DO* regret being suckered into thinking nursing is what people portray. I'm excellent at my job and have more experience than you will ever have in your 2.5 years of BSN clinical rotations. However, I am intelligent enough to move on from my mistake. I won't live in denial. My happiness is much more worth it. Nursing is awful! Thumbs up

  • @BrutalRealist what's lateral violence? I hated nursing school, btw. the profesors were pure evil. These same women look after patients? May God help me and be sure I'm, NEVER in the hospital.

  • @BrutalRealist - Thank you for speaking the truth. I to was in nursing school and dropped out by choice while i could. I can honestly say I met demons in nursing school as most of those nursing instructors were. It gave me a taste of what was yet to come in the nursing "profession". Thanks again for being honest and real.

  • @mizzmini45 Hey Mizzmini45, so glad you figured out that the nursing field is a joke and decided to leave! No self respecting person goes into this field...at least knowingly! DO you mind telling us where you decided to go after you left this pathetic field and how it's all working out for you? Are you enjoying your life again and still happy with the choice you made? I agree, there are TONS of demons in the nursing field. It's very sad.

  • bs

  • Who hired this lady, Most of her information is true, but key things she mentioned are wrong.

  • @BrutalRealist You are telling the truth. I am a new grad RN and i hate it. I hate I wasted all my years of sacrifice to get my nursing degree when I could have studied respiratory or radiology, both take the same amount of time and pay just as well and a lot less stress. Yes I google "I hate nursing" all the time. Now I am trying to figure out what's next.

  • @7alevan i agree. thank god i left nursing while i was young. One thing: why do ppl say nurses make a lot?

  • @7alevan Take a desk job..do ANYTHING. So long as you have an income, you don't need to worry about this brutal and disastrous field. Bringing home a paycheck is what matters. Wouldn't you rather have a boring desk job than be miserable as a nurse forever? My other big piece of advice...WARN EVERYONE YOU POSSIBLE CAN TO STAY OUT OF THIS FIELD! XoXo

  • Is entrance exam required for every nursing school?

  • @BrutalRealist perhaps you hate nursing because you lost the passion.. or you never had a passion for it. Nursing is in high demand especially with all the baby boomers. However if you are a practical nurse which in America is LPN NURSE than you are definitely right that they are not hiring. Because LPN Nurses (who work beside a RN) are not in demand anymore since Registered Nurses (ones who have a bachelors degree are taking over the jobs in hospitals. LPN are still in demand in nursing homes

  • @SuperBlackbeauty19 I have been saying I was going to be a nurse since I was in preschool. I graduated with a 3.9 gpa, from nursing school, and have received so many letters of praise (from my patients) I literally cannot keep track. It has nothing to do with that and EVERYTHING to do with the fact that I respect myself, as an intelligent human being who wants better. There are thousands of jobless BSN grads. Research it yourself. I guarantee you're not even a nurse. *sigh*

  • @BrutalRealist your right im not a nurse, im STUDYING to be a nurse. And i know very well from the job postings in my area that it is in high demand. With the babyboomers especially its in high demand. It seems like you lost your passion in the job and number 2 are not even bothering looking for a job. Instead your on youtube discourage the hopeful dreams of many aspiring nurses.

  • @BrutalRealist thing is, I love nursing so far and you posting youtube comments over and over with "google I hate nursing" is not going to change the way I feel. Every job has it's ups and downs. It takes an extraordinary person to deal with the downs nursing presents. Strong willed and strong minded am I, not "narrowminded/naive/young" . I have a family to support and I'm going to continue with nursing. I'm a realist, you should understand that... your name implies it.

  • @lovelyaley There is always the honeymoon phase. I am glad that you feel you love nursing so far. I am obviously not trying to damper your happiness. You're not the only person I am replying to. I wish someone would have given me the low-down on this field before I put in so much hard work to be disappointed. I find it unfortunate that you are doing this because you have a family depending on you..but I do not blame you at all. Just keep your options open. Take Care & Good Luck..you'll need it.

  • @lovelyaley honestly, honey, I'd listen to brutalrealist if I were you. I was in nursing school, & u won't believe the terrible abuse and garbage that u endure in this field. The professors were pure evil. They purposely fail u in clinical for somethign u didn't do, put in trick questions with trick answers on gtests, & are out to fail you, no joke. I got out in time, thank god. This profession DOES have aa HIGH turnover rate. Get out while you can.

  • @3333sweetie I'll be in my 4th semester of nursing school come spring and I know the mind games the teachers play. I'm no fool and I don't let it get to me. In my heart I want to help people..

  • @3333sweetie I understand but still, I advise against it. The pain's too much

  • @3333sweetie Isn't it entertaining how these nursing students and pre-nursing students know EVERYTHING? They become so immature and defensive when, in reality, they should be asking us for more advice...I mean, really, what do we gain from posting our comments on youtube? Nothing. It seems like they are pissed at themselves for wasting time on this degree. I understand that. I too, wanted to convince myself that I didn't waste my time with Nursing..but I did. I'm moving forward now.

  • @bbjenRN completely. Most of them are thisway until they find out the hard way what this profession is akll really about. Sorry you wasted your years in nursing like I did. At least you're out now

  • a high school "degree" ha.

  • @Depravedmaniac666 this is the kind of intelligence our american education produces.really I have not heard the word faggot since the fifth grade where he probally learned it ,as well as his communication skills

  • Very informative, im studying to be a nurse. The tips are very useful.

  • @SuperBlackbeauty19 Hey hun, I urge you to reconsider. I am a nurse and did very well in my program. Google : "I hate nursing" and "No nursing jobs" and do a little research. Educate yourself. There aren't any jobs out there and I hate to see young people getting into such a dead-end, terribly abusive field . Knowledge is power! I'm getting out of nursing and going into business. Much more respect and better hours. Sure it's boring at times, but better than being treated like dirt.

  • Just another note with this video. Most nursing courses will require you to take Nutrition, A & P 1 and 2, Microbiology, etc as part of their curriculum. However, if you take these courses before being accepted to a college, most will give you course credit but not tuition credit. For instance, tuition at my college is $15000 a year, but I don't get a monetary credit for the $3000+ I've paid for courses I've already taken. I'm basically having to paying twice for some classes.

  • If you had bad grades in high school, but a great SAT and ACT score, and spent maybe a year or 2 in college getting good grades, would I be likely to get in a nursing program?

  • @EducationVids666 No, but don't feel bad about it..nursing is a horrible field anyway. I'm a nurse and currently going back to school to major in Business. Much more respect, pay, and better hours there.

  • now ...that's a gooda italian girl!

  • 4 years of foreign language?? most ask for 2 years...I speak Spanish (hispanic) but I'd never taken 4 YEARS of it!!

  • Thanks, I'm in high school right now and about to take anatomy and have already taken the courses mentioned, now I know I am on the right track.

  • is this in canada?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just became an RN and All this information is enough to discourage people from even attempting to go into nursing. A bit of advice for some of you guys, don't believe everything she says, My local community college where i studied didnt require foreign language or calculus and there was NO waiting list. Although you do need to put extra time in your studies believe me when i say this, the hard work will pay off and you will have a rawaarding career.

  • @raiderfan89ify

Thanks, that really helps encourage people wanting to go for an RN degree.. I am going for my CRNA in spring 2011... I can't wait!!!

  • @raiderfan89ify Exactly, the highest math you needed to take was College Algebra lol

  • @raiderfan89ify i think ur trollin. Ur a raider fan, i believe ur a gangster.lol not an RN

  • I'm currently trying to get into the RN program at my community college, SUNYJCC I don't have to take any calculus I do however, have to take statistics if I want to transfer into a BSN program. My program also does not make students take an entrance exam for this program or take SAT/ACT. Acceptance is based on a point system. She offers alot of good advice however, I don't think all of the information she gives is completely accurate.

  • @gnr032307 I am from NYC, as well. Stay out of nursing. I hate to see people go into debt over a field that is dead end and/or abusive. Just google "I hate nursing" or "No nursing jobs" to see what I'm talking about..seriously..try it. Educate yourself hun. Occupational Therapy or Health Admin. are much more respectable fields, if you want to stay in health care. I'm a nurse and going back to school for business. God Bless

  • @BrutalRealist

Funny you should say that lol. I just decided to change my major last week :D I have decided to go for social work. I appreciated the response though :D

  • I'm currently trying to get into the RN program at my SUNYJCC I don't have to take any calculus I do however, have to take statistics if I want to transfer into a BSN program. My program also does not make students take an entrance exam for this program or take SAT/ACT. Acceptance is based on a point system. She offers alot of good advice however, I don't think all of the information she gives is completely accurate.

  • Why is she holding a pen, and what's with all of the hand movements??

  • 4 years of a foreign language? ...oh hell no.

  • she is not giving correct information. More so as an RN, you cannot wear accesories or let your hair hanging down for safety purposes. On top of that, there is no calculus required in nursing. College algebra class is good. Nursing is not as complicated as medicine or pharmacy. I think she is trying to scare people away.

  • just get your associates degree and be a rn in 2 years training lol

  • You don't get a "degree" when you graduate from high school.

  • I agree with some of the comments, she's almost trying to scare people away from nursing! She needs to be on a more positve level before she makes anymore scare tactic videos;(. PMA

  • other countries have a better health care system in place than america its pretty sad but we have the best hospitals in the world however ....

  • Some of this information is good & some is not. I don't think she is a nurse but rather a nice lady trying to give people information in a general way.

  • Okay, I feel too dumb and old to try to go back to school for this profession!

  • no jobs for new nurses better find another course

  • xootin: lmao!

  • I'm starting nursing school in the fall, core, not pre-nursing pre-reqs. No calculus here.

  • Are you RN?? You talking about only Pre nursing and not how to be a RN,,,

  • I loved your video very informative.

  • some great info, but my sister's an rn, and as someone else pointed out, you don't need calculus. i agree with a commenter below, this does kinda scare me off nursing. luckily i've got my sister to fill in with some real info.

  • Yeah, bilingual women are sexy. :)

  • Are you serious? I never had to take Calculus.

  • @TheRatadedospatas

The reason we have so many bankrupt and poor here(nowhere near as bad here as it is in Europe), is because the government started to get involved with the system. It will never work if the government gets involved. But you are very stern on your position. So I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree.

  • this kinda scares me away from nursing...and way too much hand movement... :P

  • she does not look like fun, wayy to sirious.

  • lol... calculus. I'm in a BSN program and I NEVER had to take calculus!!!

  • @lovelyaley Have you ever googled "No nursing jobs" or "I hate nursing"? You may want to make the switch into a different major before it's too late...take all the classes you can and transfer them over to Occupational Therapy, Medical Technologist, or Health Administration. Much more respect in those fields.

  • @BrutalRealist . I can also google "I hate puppies" but that doesn't change the fact I love puppies. I am not so easily swayed by what other people think.

  • you don't need to focus on calculus -- well in Canada you don't

  • @savvy1954 loooooooooooooooooooooool

  • can someone help me find hospitals where do they accept newly grad nurse with no experience in New jersey California or New york

  • @savvy1954 lol..

  • I have all that!!!

  • I have AA in Liberal Arts and Network Tech and B.S in Info System. Now going into military to get surgical experience will be out in 3 years in hoping to become physician assistant. I hope everything is setup perfectly for me.

  • I have my AAS and my BA in Liberal Arts.. BUT I'm unemployed and can't get ANY job... I'm thinking of going back to get a basic CNA certification and then working in a Hospital... Hopefully when I am there a year then the Hospital would pay for my continued education to become a RN, Lab Tech or Surgical Tech..

Could you share any advice for me on this plan? Is it a good idea or not?

    Thanks for your time. :)

  • I am in nursing school now and I graduate in june of this year. It takes 2 years of pre-req's. They won't let you get on any waiting list until your done with all your classes. She was incorrect on most of the things she said.

  • um .....no. what nurses need to focus on are the Civil Rights of patients, ombudsman doesn't cut it

Ignorant does not express the gross misguided disrespect of nurses towards patients and there families that I have witnessed over the years....borders on cruelty .

it does not take a year and a half of prerequisite course work in order to get into the nursing program....geeeez

    vid=fail

  • @guardgirl612 Prerequisite courses are courses you will need, etc ( chemistry, anatomy 1 and 2, microbiology and college math depending on the field of nursing you enter

  • @guardgirl612 Courses that aren't you're [actual] major courses, but required for completion of degree.

  • Damn!! I already have my BBA, I just want to do a career change and earn my registered nursing certificate.

I know for sure that VCU School of Nursing is very difficult to get into. They have over 1500 applicants a year apply, but only accept 10% (150). I think thats terrible!! And thats why there is a shortage...you wonder?! lool.

  • foreign lang? no no no! how new world order. too many NEW nurses come out of school, and leave, why? BA's don't think they clean up poop/urine/vomit/blood. Im not joking, sadly. Then comes the stress they 'thought' they could handle, jumpin from one job to another 2 find it is the same everywhere. u know majority of nurses are on anti-depressants? 4 what u spend on getting here, u won't get it back, state workers make as much if not more

  • @HR1800 You know, I have to agree w/ you HR. Especially those nurses I've watched in the hospital! It crazy and stressful. I've heard a nurse say she work 16hrs a day, and on her days off, she has another job working 12hrs--all because the pay isn't what she expected. Keep in mind she's a BSN nurse! Its crazy!

  • lol tooooooooo many hand gestures but very informative :]

  • i luv all the jewlery or armor, unless u want 2 take home MRSA u won't wear a lot of jewelry

  • most of the information is incorrect.......true ........way too many hand gestures and not enough reliable information. lol

  • we're not MOst countries. Move. Please.

  • @twindwick Ya'll aren't too stupid! Listen, if your school has medical classes, like Med. Microbiology or Med. Terminology, then take them. they helped me alot

  • more information, wonderful!

  • U CAN DO IT!

  • Foreign language? Last time i checked, i was in america.

  • I used to think that way too, but unless you're Native American, I'm pretty certain somewhere up the line Yyou're relatives couldn't speak english also!

  • @dizzitoast: Are you suggesting that Native Americans devised the English language?

  • lol Your right. I guess it wouldn't hurt, i do REALLY want to do it.

  • @Amnesia512 , hmmmm yeah and america only consist of people speaking english ... duhhhh

  • I believe I was talking to another person, but thanks.

  • The U.S. system in Nursing is such a scam and a rip off. I am a RN and I got my RN in germany. And by way, college in germany up ph.d is free of charge. Free education.you dont even pay for your books, you basically rent them for free and return em after each semester.

Renewing your RN license etc..is another rip off just get your money....

I am an RN now here in the US and I am i guess the ONLY Nurse thats not in debt with student loans. This actually sad!

  • MOst countries offer a free-education system. I am wondering how long are these stupid americans going to keep their mouth shut? Education and healthcare most be a birth given right. Wake up!!!!

  • @TheRatadedospatas

I'm sorry, but I don't like paying for other peoples health care...that's my money I want to spend it on my self. And I don't want everyone having a college degree(I don't have one and never will). For two simple facts, one is that I don't want to pay for another persons education, and if everyone has a college degree, who would do the manual labor like construction and plumbing etc. . Plus it creates meritocracy when things like education is just handed out.

  • @tubofjoy Great post! I totally agree!

  • @tubofjoy

Ignorant American. No wonder why the rest of the world makes fun of us.

  • @TheRatadedospatas

I'm sorry if capitalism is the only economic system to actually work.

  • @TheRatadedospatas I am an american...and it's sad...I agree with you..our country is so stupid. If medical school was free, that would fix a MIRROR of problems that our country has.

  • @muratshawn Really?.:0 Do tell more!

  • @TheCemetarygirl u serious or messing with me? if more people knew how they r being ripped of,people would be outraged about the school system here. Just alone how much a nursing student has to pay for books, is to me originally from Europe, insane...i mean how do you guys let this happen?

and you also have to pay additional for parking at the university u attend? lol and for books, on top of the 20-30k u have to pay to study and finish your degree????? wow...

  • @muratshawn I'm not messing. :{ And I'm not interested in nursing. The reason why I looked up this vid was to see what people think about nursing-research. [Because everyone thinks that nursing in the U.S. is great...until you get up to your forehead in debt from loans. I actually agree with you that the school system is a rip-off.It's more than that, it's a scam.]

  • @muratshawn They think that if they complete a program and get a degree, then that means hat they've met the requirements for a job, so that way they ca get a job. [And most employee's will see if they completed college to see if the person "has went above and beyond," or, "is intelligent " and "goal-oriented." So culture and mentality are all another factor to why people don't stop and think about it, because college is socially-acceptable and seen as an "admirable" within the society.

  • @muratshawn Sorry, bad spelling in the last one P: Excuse that. But that's why it's not really questioned within the American culture. I was just asking because it seems like in Germany [and in other countries,] that the school system is more educational/beneficial for the student. I was just interested in what you said about the school system in Germany..... :

  • I agree with you that yes, it is insane. But the reason why people put up with the way the school system is here [and why they let it happen,] is because their taught that you have to pay for school to go to school. So that way, people think that it makes sense for people to pay because it's "higher" education. They also go to school in hopes for a guarantee for a job. That's the only reason. Not for education, but for a job.

  • small schools and community colleges do require "entrance exams". i am in one now.

  • Small schools and community colleges do not offer "entrance exams". As long you have a pulse you'll get into that school. Focus on your prereq's and you'll get in. Screw the baccalaureate, as long as you have the two most important letters, RN, its all gravy.

  • I would rather have someone be expressive by using hand gestures than having someone who is boring and speaks in a monotone voice. Give her a break!!!

  • I am so dizzy right now from following her hand movements

  • somebody likes to talk with their hands...

  • @niumap123GH Interesting, and tell me what nursing school will accept you for just having two hands and feet (yes it's feet not feets, feet is already plural.) I disagree with you, i think it takes a strong, smart, stable mind to be a nurse. Who would want a dumb, incompetent and not caring nurse? No one. That's why nursing programs are picky

there is NO comparing nursing to automotive. In nursing you deal with patients' health and in automotive you deal with a inanimate objects.
