@shutyourdangpiehole You need to study both case law and the constitution. Many laws are overturned by courts for being unconstitutional. And some laws, ie Patriot Act and NDAA or very unconstitutional, it is very obvious. You don't have to be a legal scholar to know that. And some laws, ie Patriot Act and NDAA or very unconstitutional, it is very obvious. You don't have to be a legal scholar to know that. PR, you are much more educated on the subject than I. I have always been curious how Chicago, for example was/is able to circumvent everyone's rights by completely banning handguns. To your knowledge, has it ever been challenged? Is it still in effect? Seems like blatant violation of rights.

@FreeBlago1 if I open carry, it is equal to Constitutional carry. Because I am working within the system to change it (and I've been training police on the issue of Constitutional carry with county wide training bulletins and classes mandated for all deputies and officers), I still use a CCP to conceal carry even though if the Constitution means what it means, I shouldn't have to. But, we're moving in the right direction in my neck of the woods. Other places however...

They have 99.99% of all the power and control too many assets and more importantly they control the apparatus that projects deadly force against anyone that will not capitulate. It’s easier to kill a million citizens than control the same as far as they are concerned.

In the case of our Republic, a foundation of laws protecting inalienable rights. A Republic is of the people, but is not a democracy.
