  • I have been advised to look for video's on different patterns. Do you have any? If not, what would you suggest?

  • There are an infinite number of patterns. Pattern play is specific to the game you are playing. It is also dependent on your cue ball control skills. What game do you have in mind? Can you reliably draw, stun and follow?

  • Yes, I can shoot great and control the cue ball well. I play mostly 9-ball, and when I was playing with people who are much better and I'd ask them what they thought I should work on they said patterns. They told me that there are video's on YouTube and I haven't been able to find any.

  • I have a video on the principles of position play. That is one you can watch. 9 ball patterns are the easiest to see when you consider that the order of the balls is predetermined. The biggest thing about 9 ball is landing on the correct side of each ball relative to the table layout. Watch the video on position play and let me know if that clears up anything.

  • thank you... I will let you know.

  • safety, indeed, plays an imperative part in the game...it gives yourself a big chance and it is a must area to be improved on.great vid, thx!

  • Please take the time to tell a friend about me.

  • thanks, you're doing great man.

  • Thats a possibility but not everyone is confortable with banking. The safety is the higher percentage play.

  • I agree. Keep them coming. I watch each one you post. Thanks.
