You know, when I saw this video I was like, what a hypocrite, but upon further review I think I know what Grapes is talking about.
He just doesn't like the players disrespecting & talking crap to each other during the warm up nor does he like them talking nice. In the old NHL, there was no talking during pregame with the other team & there was a level of focus, in this clip there isn't any focus & in the Avery clip there is too much of a level of disrespect. I think he just wants a balance.

you know as much as I hate Sean Avery, Grapes was the first one to blast him when he was talking shit to the Leafs back in 07. Now granted Avery is a perpetual line crosser, but isn't that what Grapes is looking for when he spends 300 bucks per game. I like Grapes, but he needs to be consistent.
