When CM Lim Yew Hock lost, did/nt Lee become the CM. Second, when did the swearing occur for the first PM of Singapore. Funny, how did Malaysia kick out it's citizens in Singapore!!!
no mistake, it was prime minister. the agreement to form malaysia was hammered out so quickly that many things were glossed over and this was part of the reason for the separation in 1965. imagine a country with two prime ministers!
during the 1963-1965 period, there were many issues such as politics, trade and others that arose because it was not clearly spelt out in the agreement.
actually in 1963 shoudnt it be Chief Minister? after all it was the Singapore state government... Well i suppose this shows the differing point of view on Malaysia..
For singapore Sabah and Sarawak it was 4 nations coming together to form one country.
For malaya its 4 new states joining the federation.
Because of this singapore was kicked out and we see the effect in Sabah and Sarawak where they feel like they are just Malayan Colonies....
reason of failing, making political parties able to go other state for election
