Actually, I guessed the "attractive" people because I thought it was very obvious that it was a trick question. I think it was just a poorly executed experiment.
But I think assuming that girls chose the "attractive" girl because they were "more wary of her being a bitch" is insulting to your viewers' intelligence. But then, I have no idea who watches your videos so maybe they're a bit more simple than I would think.
This also brings up a really good question though of what makes a person attractive... I think most people would say their drawn or attracted by confidence, and someone without confidence is 10 times more likely to be a hater because they take out their insecurities on other people. It's just because we're a reflective species by nature.

As humans we naturally trust faces with clear skin, full lips and straight noses because they provide visual evidence of a healthy, functioning individual. I think you missed the point of this video. It wasn't to prove you wrong, it was to make you rethink how you judged people. I was looking at how people looked at unattractive people and said they were more likely to do something negative over an attractive person. It was saying you shouldn't judge someones values from their appearance.
Why shouldn't we. People make themselves look like they want others to see them.That's why you CAN judge them, a little. Interesting project! - there are other studies that show that we do indeed equate positive attributes such as kindness, intelligence, strength etc. with classically attractive individuals, when logically that is just not true all of the time. The mind is a mysterious thing! Best be open minded and draw your own conclusions based on character rather than looks alone.

it wasn't because they where not attractive, it's because they looked like they where gang members (pic 1) or a geek with lots of free time to hate (pic 2).
besides, all we had to go by was the picture, we had to go by appearence. if in real life, how they speak, ect would be taken into account.

Good idea, well-executed. I don't think the results are anywhere near valid, though. A large number of people would have simply assumed you were trying to prove a point; it would have been perceived as a sarcastic response to the haters - 'outing' them and silencing them, rather than as a genuine attempt to get audience's own opinion. They are likely to have voted in line with what they thought your point was, rather than their - unquestionably present - prejudices.
After watching the original video, I thought how on earth can anyone identify a "hater" from a photo. Interesting video though and interesting comments here "I might have slightly lied to you" oh! and "pretty much all of my viewers are female", yeah except the insigbificant minority 26% male viewers ;)

The act of a subscription means that you are willing to see whatever I post without knowing what it is about, thus a brief was unnessary. And, i can see what you mean but you try and get an attractive males photo off google images, it's very difficult to find anything that isnt a model. (some people thought it was a mugshot anyway :P )

Your study is seriously flawed. I didn't even respond because I assumed that you were being sarcastic and you were trying to make fun of the haters. In other words, I thought that you only posted BECAUSE you discovered that the haters were ugly. You should have more clearly clarified that you were genuinely interested in the answers.
I got more than enough results and some people suspected something anyway, my results would be seriously flawed if people were suspicious of my motives. That is why I presented it as a 'game'.
for me, i chose the pretty girl picture to be the hater instead of the crazy eyebrowed lady because mainly I thought she looked like a more realistic person who would be on youtube. The other picture did seem like something you found on google. So, i just picked what I thought looked more real. And again for the second set of haters, the same. I picked the picture that looked the most realistic. not the other one that looked fake. Just sayin! i aint sure if your hypothosis is correct. :-p
I think the problem was that the ugly people kind of looked like douchebags. like there are ugly people who look nice and friendly, but the ugly people you showed looked very mean and like the type that would leave comments like that
I thought the way you read the comments and set it up implied the answer you wanted, implied the "ugly" people. But I think I wrote that it was probably the clean cut looking people, and a trick. But in any case I get judged all the time and I am just a geometric symbol. So were you implying that you with your rockabilly new haircut :P were an attractive person or ugly person. Could be actually more sociological if you really want to get picky, which I'm sure you don't:P

it wasn't because they where not attractive, it's because they looked like they where gang members (pic 1) or a geek with lots of free time to hate (pic 2).
besides, all we had to go by was the picture, we had to go by appearence. if in real life, how they speak, ect would be taken into account.

Good idea, well-executed. I don't think the results are anywhere near valid, though. A large number of people would have simply assumed you were trying to prove a point; it would have been perceived as a sarcastic response to the haters - 'outing' them and silencing them, rather than as a genuine attempt to get audience's own opinion. They are likely to have voted in line with what they thought your point was, rather than their - unquestionably present - prejudices.

also with the male pictures, more people may have picked the unnattractive one due to the attractive one looking like a model picture, therefore people probably thought it was a fake or you googled it
but overall nice experiment, just some stuff maybe you can put in your evaluation :)

The act of a subscription means that you are willing to see whatever I post without knowing what it is about, thus a brief was unnessary. And, i can see what you mean but you try and get an attractive males photo off google images, it's very difficult to find anything that isnt a model. (some people thought it was a mugshot anyway :P )

I voted for the attractive girl because I thought the unattractive girl wasn't a real contestant, I'm pretty sure I've seen her when people put up chola pictures. sort of the same with the attractive guy, it looked like a modelling polaroid so I didn't think he was real either.

for me, i chose the pretty girl picture to be the hater instead of the crazy eyebrowed lady because mainly I thought she looked like a more realistic person who would be on youtube. The other picture did seem like something you found on google. So, i just picked what I thought looked more real. And again for the second set of haters, the same. I picked the picture that looked the most realistic. not the other one that looked fake. Just sayin! i aint sure if your hypothosis is correct. :-p

I thought the way you read the comments and set it up implied the answer you wanted, implied the "ugly" people. But I think I wrote that it was probably the clean cut looking people, and a trick. But in any case I get judged all the time and I am just a geometric symbol. So were you implying that you with your rockabilly new haircut :P were an attractive person or ugly person. Could be actually more sociological if you really want to get picky, which I'm sure you don't:P
