  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I pressed the dislike button by accident :(

  • @MBAZ100 this comment is 2 months old. you can vote again now =)

  • this.....is terrible

im surprised im the first dislike

sloppy as hell and hard on the ears

  • @DmonkeyD1994 Oh look who just rode in on his special needs tricycle; it's Dmonkey1994! The tonedeaf internet badass who loves to underline his encyclopaedic ignorance (on music) by systematically hating on Bumblefoot clips! Yeah be very surprised by the fact that it's only you spewing that verbal diarrhea, it should tell you something about those ears you've got there Nimrod. Please amuse us some by elaborating on that concept you have in which mainstream popularity is equivalent to quality!!

  • @o0Slipdisc0o hey come on dude... what do you expect from someone who favorites rebecca black and panic at the disco? just ignore him

  • Is this a fretless guitar?

  • Gotta say, his voice impressed me the most :P

  • wow no dislikes(when i wrote this comment(hopefully neither in the future)) it just shows that he is awesome and i love that he's in Guns right now

  • whats with all the fuss about whos is the better guitarist?

There is a limit to how good at guitar you can be. When you sell your soul to the devil, Like mr. bumblefoot here. It's how you use this massive level of win, that makes you good. and from there it's all preference. And I can tell you this.

This man, buckethead, John petrucci, and hell, hrow in Jason becker, have all sold there souls to the devil.

So appreciate the music, who cares who is better?

  • me likes

  • I love the solo... x.x

  • this shit is sick! i feel bad for people who cant wrap their tiny brains around it.

  • I can't agree more with the one dude. I have been a fan of Thal since the early 90"s he's awsome and Guthrie is a huge fan. He has chops, feel, and originality and can play many styles well.

  • Yngwie has no musicality about him. All of his songs sound the same. As for Buckethead, I dont really have any problems with him...

Bumblefoot however is in an entirely different category both technically and musically.

  • Oh MY GOD You're si Right !!!

According to me Ron Thal is a major turn in the world of the guitar, a new kind of guitarist on the top of his art

Mathias Eklundh is another example of these "mutant guitarists"

  • buckethead is a great writer and is just all around a good player and understands the guitar. Yngwie just sticks in aeolian and harmonic minor for every second of his life. he has good technique, but it just gets boring.

  • Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal is amazing and cannot be compared to buckethead because they have such a different style. Bumblefoot plays with Yngwie. Lets not forget bumblefoot REPLACED Buckethead...XD! compare buckethead playin the november rain solo compared to bumblefoot playing it....ull see what i mean XD

  • no.

bumblefoot isnt near yngwie or buckethead

he is good but lets not overestimate him

  • Bumblefoot is eons ahead of Buckethead and Yngwie combined, you Nimrod. He has a far greater spectrum of chops (he's technically so much more rounded and proficient it's not even funny) and his music is far more original in terms of melodies, harmonics, dynamics, rhythms and overall theory manipulation.

  • i read the first sentence and bursted out laughing(i really did)

you are obviously a bumblefoot tard

god he's an unorginal, terrible sounding guy who wigger raps and taps on his guitar

listen to better guitarists...like buckethead or petrucci or even tom morello

  • I laughed at my first sentence too. I couldn't believe how spot on the term "nimrod" was in describing a mental midget like you; It was just one of these magical moments I guess. It's funny how you mention Petrucci, because the man expressed deep admiration for BBF's technical skills and songwriting on numerous occasions. Tom Morello? He's not even on the same planet as BBF. Buckethead uses way more rigid patterns than BBF... So in short: go swallow a fly and double your IQ!!

  • You don't need to argue because you can't, you're clearly one of these mainstream oriented guitar hero geeks. Who essentially knows nothing about guitar. How are your views on Petrucci now? The man worships the ground Thal walks on (just like Jordan Rudess)? You pack about as much verbal punch as a double arm amputee. Your contributions have ignorance and lack of argumentation written all over them. Good luck broadening that mainstream driven-cheap-popularity-huggin' taste you have there!

  • For you popularity is equivalent to quality, which makes you a jelly sucking mental midget of the highest order (=Tom Morello?? LOOOOOL!!!). You aren't able to produce even one coherent argument in this context, you just claim random BS. Yes Petrucci worships Thal and the evidence is omnipresent. Thal is heralded as on of the greatest tappers and hybrid pickers, you criticism on his tapping is as delusional as all the other verbal diarhea you produced so far.

  • You re a mainstream popularity huggin retard. Who can't wrap his tiny brain around the fact that guitarplaying of BBF's calibre highlights your mainstream heroes' shortcomings that much. You re sweating like a blind lesbian on a fishmarket, struggling for even one coherent thought in this discussion.

Go ahead produce another few of those names who s main forte is it that uneducated and ignorant guitar hero fanboys like you buy their albums en mass, due to a mix of ignorance and plain stupidity.

  • fuckin A

  • "I just heard Ron Thal for the first time. This guy is really different; he's playing some whacky stuff. What impresses me is hearing something I can't immediately understand or recognize, and Thal's Adventures of Bumblefoot (Shrapnel) really impressed me." —John Petrucci in "Guitar World".

  • "Ron Thal is fantastic, he's a legend in the pop/metal, you know it's him when you hear a solo, he's Bumblefoot, out of control."—Jordan Rudess (the guy who plays with Petrucci on a daily base) in "auxportesdumetal"

  • they all play cleaner and have more variety....except yngwie hes mostly shred

  • Cleaner? Thal is one of the only fretless virtuosos on the planet, twat. Knowing that playing fretless (microtones etc) requires a bizarre amount precision, for exact positioning and shifts. He and Govan are the only players who can play almost every style. There's not a single name that you were able to produce here who has even 10% of Thal diversity or accuracy. You clearly have no fuckin' clue about guitar in general and the specifics on Thal.

  • I've seen Yngwie, Petrucci, Eric Johnson, Buckethead, Satriani, Vinnie Moore, Paul Gilbert, etc. and Ron Thal is the most talented guitarist I have ever seen. I'm not a fan of his music, but from a pure skill level he's the best I have ever seen.

  • Thats only because Buckethead LEFT the band.

  • he is faster than buckethead..that doesnt mean he is better in any way..

  • Love the opera singing :P haha

  • I want that guitar!

  • naice jong

  • oh fuck

  • this is soooooooooo good hes actully so amazing

  • this dvd looks great,

I need to order it now!

  • YNGWIE XD

  • wtf?

  • He says Yngwie at the end of the clip

  • the DVD is AMAZING. I like the break in the middle with the stories from his childhood. definitely worth the money.

  • what little money it was at first

  • Very cool bbf rules

  • Ron has some russian flavors sometimes... I think he likes to listen russian classical composers.

  • awesome!

  • Tök jó.

  • On the original studio recording, he does the mellow guitar solo part on a fretless

  • love it, love it, love it. AWESOME Ron rocks big time. He is turly a genius! Love his work! Keep on rockin!

  • grande ron thal ;DDD jejeej GUITARS SUCK RCTM!!!!

    jajA
